海外の証券会社にある外国株を、日本の証券会社に移管した話

タイトル通りです。少々手間取ったので、メモ代わりに書こうと思います。

１．海外の証券会社にメールしてみた

　おそらくここが一番面倒でやりたくないところだと思うのですが、結論から言うと、やる必要はないです。
　ちなみに私の移管元証券会社はComputershareさんです。
　参考までに、やりとりを置いておきます。

Hello, I am (銘柄) shareholder.
I want to transfer all the shares to a Japanese securities firm.
Please mail or send me “transfer request form to a foreign securities firm”.
This is my Account information.
  Registered name : (名前)
  Ticker symbol : (銘柄のコード)
  Holder Account Number : (アカウントID)
Thank you.

You have two basic choices to transfer shares to your stock broker:
1) An accurate and quick way is to electronically transfer shares held in DRS book form in your account here to your account at the brokerage using the DRS Profile System. Simply contact your broker and ask that they initiate a transfer from us using the DRS Profile System.
OR
2) You may instruct us to issue a stock certificate for any whole shares, along with a check for any fractional shares, to be mailed to your address of record. You may then choose to deliver these to your broker.
Your broker may be best able to advise you on which of the two will be most effective for your particular situation.

超簡単にまとめると、まぁ色々やり方あるけど、日本の証券会社に聞いてみてね！！！という内容でした。

２．日本の証券会社に聞いてみた

　ということで日本の証券会社に聞いてみました。が！

　こちらもやる必要はないです。

　移管したい証券会社（私の場合はSBI証券）に問い合わせしたところ、外国の証券会社の株式は移管できない模様。

３．移管できる日本の証券会社を探す

　ということで、外国の証券会社の株式を移管できる証券会社を探してみました。色々と探してみたのですが、最終的に

　SMBC日興証券さん　にたどり着きました。

　一度チャットで確認してみたのですが、電話でしか対応できないとのことでしたので、おとなしく電話しましょう。必要な情報は以下です。

　・銘柄
　・大体の株数
　・移管元の証券会社名
　・移管元証券会社のアカウントID的なもの

　あとは書類が送られてくると思うので、頑張って書きましょう。

４．おわりに

　以上の手順（実際には３だけ）で、海外の証券会社にある外国株を、日本の証券会社に移管することができました。
　これを見て移管できない問題を解決できる人が増えればいいなと思います。
