Various Ways To Collaborate

I went to the exhibition of "Ryusetsu Nagasawa" held at the Nakanoshima Museum of Art in the last evening.

I find myself casually dropping by exhibitions each time, leaving the museum with thoughts like "That was good" or "It was okay." Honestly, I'm not familiar with art. However, I end up going out of curiosity.

Paint On Japanese Cedar

One of the works of the protagonist of the 18th century in Japan, Ryusetsu Nagasawa, featured a painting of a crane on a door made of cedar. While I don't think there's a specific reason for it to be cedar, I thought it was an interesting way to showcase wood. Collaborations like this with art could be intriguing. Even if it doesn't have a specific meaning, considering the atmosphere of the exhibition and the duration people spend there, surrounding them with a wooden space, enhancing the scent of cypress or cedar, doesn't sound like a bad idea. If such spaces were used in small concert venues, it might be possible to subconsciously imprint the awareness of wood on people.

Midosuji Illumination

Afterward, I hang around the city, and that's when I stumbled upon the illumination event on Midosuji Avenue.

It's about time of the year for illuminations. It would be great to have such events on Mount Yoshino too. I hope to make next year a good one.

Bye!
