This was a live performance by "Hibi no Awa", a four-person group that connects music and images, with Naka Chia, katakamuii, and hidekimasuda. Originally, we had "Hibi no Awa" as the title of this concert, but we will use it as the name of the group from now on.

At first, the prototype was when I invited Naka Chia and katakamuii to join me at the "nature phenomenon" festival I attended in April, where I performed as a soloist. Also, at that time, hidekimasuda was co-hosting as a VJ for the entire festival.

From there, we began to see each other several times at after-parties and other events, and it naturally progressed to this event.

The theme of the first half was "appearing and disappearing," and the theme of the second half was "gradually expanding," which was expressed in the performance and the video.

Naka Chia's piano created a gentle and dreamy motif, katakamuii's guitar wrapped the surroundings like a cradle, and the performance itself gradually changed its color with hidekimasuda's video.

Especially in the second set, there were many moments when the four members became one, and I could really feel the moment when this "hibi no bubbles" took shape as one.

We do not have any plans for a repeat performance at this time, but we would certainly like to hold the next one. I am already looking forward to the next one, and I have some ideas about what to do next time.

ライブ後記

Naka Chiaさん、katakamuiiさん、hidekimasuda君との、音楽と映像をつなぐ4人「ひびの泡」でのライブでした。
元々は今回のライブタイトルとして「ひびの泡」を掲げていましたが、今後はグループ名として使っていこうと思います。

初めは、4月に参加したフェス「nature phenomenon」にて、ソロで自分が出演した際に、Naka Chiaさん、katakamuiiさんを誘ってみたのが原型でした。またこの時、hidekimasuda君はこのフェス全体のVJとして共演していました。

そこからアフターパーティなど何度か顔を合わせるようになり、今回のイベントへと自然と進みました。

前半は「現れては消えていく」、後半は「徐々に膨らんでいく」をテーマとして演奏、そして映像と合わせて表現していました。

Naka Chiaさんのピアノにより優しく夢のあるモチーフが生まれ、katakamuiiさんのギターはゆりかごのように周囲を包み、hidekimasuda君の映像により演奏そのものもその色を少しずつ変えていく。

特に2nd Setにおいては4人が一体となった瞬間が多く、この「ひびの泡」が1つの形と相成った瞬間を実感できました。

今の所は再演の予定はないのですが、必ず次回も開催したく思います。今からすでに次回どうしようかアイディアがあり、楽しみです。
