〇「誰かの勉強法」をマネしていたら成長できない

　「よく出来る子」とは、常にユニークで個性的。これは、長年の受験指導の結果知った事実です。自分の同級生で、学年一の成績をとる子をよく観察してほしい。それは、学力のことだけではない。アスリートでも、芸術方面でも構わない。

　いなかったら、将棋の藤居くんを見てほしい。早くからコンピューター相手に将棋を打っていたそうだ。彼は高校を退学したから「中卒」だよね。私は名古屋大学「教育学部」に通っていたので、藤井君の通っていた「名古屋大学教育学部附属中学校」をよく知っている。

　トップクラスをめざす場合、どんな分野でも他人のマネをしていたら実現できるわけがない。塾や予備校に勉強法を丸投げするような生徒には、難関大合格のチャンスはないですよ。

　When aiming for the top class, there is no way you can achieve it if you copy others in any field. Students who throw their study methods to cram schools and prep schools have no chance to achieve a difficult-to-enter university.
