〇「誰かのせい」を捨てた時に、合格する

　受験指導をさせてもらっていると、落ちる生徒には共通点があることが分かってくる。それは、言い訳。責任転嫁。
「あの先生の教え方が悪いから」
「この問題集の説明が悪いから」
「親の遺伝子が悪いから」
　などなど。

　こんな言い訳をしている生徒の多くは志望校に落ちる。あるいは、ランクを下げるしかなくなる。なぜだろう？この世にパーフェクトな先生など、いない。この世に完璧な問題集の解説など、存在しない。人は親を選んで生まれてくることは出来ない。

　合格する生徒は、自分でコントロール出来ないことに頭を使わない。時間を使わない。エネルギーを使わない。自分のできることだけに集中して全力を尽くす者だけが、合格を手にするのだ。

　As I have been teaching students to take the entrance examinations, I have come to realize that students who fail have one thing in common. They make excuses. Shifting the blame.
"Because that teacher's teaching style is bad.
"Because the explanation of this question booklet is bad."
Because my parents' genes are bad.
　And so on.

　Many students who make such excuses fail to get into the school of their choice. Or, they have no choice but to lower their ranking. Why is this? There is no such thing as a perfect teacher in this world. There is no such thing as a perfect explanation of a problem book in this world. People cannot choose their parents.

　Successful students do not spend their minds on things they cannot control. They don't spend their time. They do not use their energy. Only those who focus only on what they can do and give it their all will be successful.
