Day 171 : Fish market at the end of year

This is the final day of public fish markets in Japan, such as Toyosu, and other regional public sites.

There are two big differences at the year-end markets.

First one is the number of people. More people come to markets to get ready for the new year celebration. I've never seen these many people in the market.

Second one is the fish and other seafood that they sell. There are so many of them with the red and alike colored ones, such as salmon, salmon caviar, red porgy, shrimp, and octopus. It's a little difficult to find the other fish and seafood.

I wanted to buy squid, but yes, it was a little irksome to find them, to find out that they were a little more expensive....

Quote of the day
When you fish for love, bait with your heart, not your brain.
