Day 371: Naganegi Achar

Onion can be found in almost any countries.
But, not Naganegi.

It's called "Welsh onion, also commonly called bunching onion, long green onion, Japanese bunching onion, and spring onion", according to Wikipedia.

I am a big fan of Naganegi, and I just thought that I should make Naganegi Achar.
But there is no recipe on the internet..., that is why I just though that it's not as global as onion.

Well, I remember buying leaks in the US or Australia which taste a little different...
And I know that they all should not be converged as one kind.

Anyway, the Achar was great, with black mustard seeds and chili.

Word of the day
converge :
Quote of the day
“To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy.”
― Henri Cartier-Bresson
