Motivation Letter for 学部 at 大学名

About the 奨学金の名前, I am writing to submit my scholarship application to pursue a 学位（bachelor's, master'sなど） degree in 学部 at the 大学名. I was keenly surprised to hear about the 〜EUR scholarship that the 大学名 provides, and it certainly can help me focus on my educational development. In this cover letter, I will elaborate on my motivation and qualification for this scholarship. 

To shortly introduce myself, my name is Harry Potter and I will be starting my freshman year at the 大学名 with an intended major in 学部名. The financial support will allow me to reduce part-time work during my studies. As a result, I can spend my spare time studying for classes and studying things that interest me to broaden my career options.

I am a student who is eager to learn and can keep doing what I am not good at. I went to middle school and high school for a total of six years without a single absence.  When I was 16 years old, I had been attending swimming classes four times a week for a year to overcome my weakness in swimming, and as a result, I became confident with swimming. I also have aspirations. I spent a lot of time reading and studying during breaks at high school, and I attended many lectures by famous people outside of school. In terms of my career path, I am courageous enough to decide on my path without being influenced by the people around me, in contrast to the trend at my high school where students tend to choose to go on to an affiliated university. From these episodes, I can continue to spare no effort to solve the difficulties that stand in front of me. I also have the strength of will to know my current situation, determine what I am lacking, and take action without being influenced by the environment around me.

By attending 大学名, I will be able to help those who are suffering from hunger and those who are suffering because of climate change. You are not just helping me get through college. You are improving the quality of life for countless families to come. Should I be selected, I will use this opportunity to advance my 学部名 education. I appreciate your consideration, and I look forward to building a lasting relationship with your organization.
