今回食べに行ったのは、大阪を代表するソウルフードの一つ、お好み焼きです。日本版ピザ、と言ったら怒られそうですが、見てくれはそんな感じ。
高校生が、学校の帰りに食べるような商店街の小さなお店から、ワインと一緒に楽しむようなお洒落なレストランまで。日本にはたくさんのお好み焼き屋さんがあります。
豚肉、タコ、エビ、など、選べるトッピングの種類も豊富。
また、たっぷりのネギがかかったものや、焼きそばを敷いたもの、とろろ芋を混ぜたものなど、地域によって、バリエーションもたくさん。
今宵、銭湯でお風呂に入った後に、ふらりと食べに入ったのは、天王寺駅から5分くらいの距離にある、お好み焼き屋「はやし」。
少し寂れた商店街の中に、ポツリとあります。
このお店の存在は、少し前から気になっていたのです。先日訪れたワインバーのマスターに「美味しいですよ」と教えてもらい、食べに来てみることにしました。
ガラリと扉を開けると、カウンターと、テーブル席がいくつか、小さな座敷が一つ。清潔で明るいお店です。
お客さんは、地元のお父さんやお母さん。皆さん、一人で来て、軽く飲んで、軽く食べて、歓談しています。でも、一見のおっさんにも優しい雰囲気。これ、大事。
メニューはオーソドックスで、とてもリーズナブル。そして、お味は絶品。というか、想像以上に「昔ながらのお好み焼き」を楽しめます。
