New House Exhibition - 今週のハウス新譜チェック 12.19-12.20

こんにちは、ハウスミュージックラウンジ「秋葉原住宅」の棟梁、spinn.teramotoです。ここ東京だけでなく今年は世界中が困難なホリデーシーズンを迎えつつありますが、今週も新築ハウスミュージックをご紹介していきます。

Hello, this is spinn.teramoto, the mastermind behind the house music lounge ”Akihabara Housing ,Ltd.” It's been a difficult holiday season not only here in Tokyo, but all over the world this year, but I'd like to introduce you to some new house music, as usual.

ご紹介するのは、すべて僕が実際にダウンロード購入した曲。真剣勝負で選んだ楽曲たちです。さっそくご紹介していきますよ!

I'm going to show you all the songs that I've actually downloaded and purchased. These songs were chosen in a serious competition. Let's take a look at it right away!

1. Dj Disciple, Therealshaker - Beautiful(Day Deez Raw Life Mix)

毎年クリスマス前ともなると少しずつ新曲のリリースが減ってきて、そのかわり各レーベルからは競うようにコンピレーションが発売されます。「2020」とか「2021」とか、「X years of XXXX」みたいなタイトルで20曲とか入ってるリリースが並ぶ新着リストは、1年の終わりを感じさせる風景のひとつです。

Every year before Christmas, the number of new music releases gradually decreases, and instead, labels release compilations in competition with each other. The list of new releases with titles like "2020", "2021", "X years of XXXX" is one of the things that reminds me of the end of the year.

そんなクリスマス前でもギリギリまで新作をリリースしてくれるのは、さすがダラスの鉄人・Demarkus Lewis。Beatportで彼のリリースの一覧を表示させると、（重複もあるとはいえ）実に186曲もの楽曲が並ぶんですよ。ほぼ2日に1曲のペース。凄い。

Even before Christmas, Demarkus Lewis, the iron man of Dallas, releases new music until the last minute. If you go to Beatport and look at the list of his releases in this year, although there are some duplicates in several releases, you'll see that there are 186 songs in a row. Almost one song every two days. It's amazing.

そんな彼の手によるこの最新のリミックスワークは、丸く湾曲して艶やかに光るEピアノがとろけるように空間を満たすナイス音響建築。素晴らしい。

This latest remix work by him is a nice acoustic architecture with a round, curved, glossy e-piano that fills the space as if it were melting. Excellent.

2. Mo'Cream - Another TIme

ロンドンのNo Fuss Recordsからリリースされたのは、イタリアのDJ、Mo'Creamの「Another Time」。抑えたトーンのリフレインは、次への展開を予感させる滑走路のような効果があります。こういう曲はたすかる。

Released on London's No Fuss Records is "Another Time" by Italian DJ Mo'Cream. The restrained tone of the refrain has the effect of a runway, foreshadowing what's to come. This kind of music must be very helpful for DJs.

3. Sebb Junior - U Got 2

やったー! ロンドンで一番の洒落者集団Reel People Musicから、スペイン・グラナダ出身の伊達男Sebb Juniorの心躍るトラック到着。コシのあるリズムの上で漂う甘いフレグランスにとろけそう。最高…。

Yay! From London's no.1 stylish collective Reel People Music comes this exciting track by Sebb Junior, a dandy from Granada, Spain. I feel like I'm going to melt into the sweet fragrance that drifts over the stiff rhythm. The best....

4. Simon Pagliari - Watch You Are (Original Mix)

これ楽しい! ロンドンのBubble'N'Twistから届いた、イタリア北部の街ブレシアのアーティストSimon Pagliariの「Watch You Are」。すごく面白い形の音響建築で、フロアで過ごす時間に刺激を与えるスパイスみたいな曲です。

This is fun! It's "Watch You Are" by Simon Pagliari, an artist from the northern Italian city of Brescia, coming from Bubble'N'Twist in London. It's a very interesting form of sonic architecture that will spice up your time on the floor.

5. Amine K & atsou Feat. Lemonia - Felice

いいねえ…。モロッコのDJ・Amine KとギリシャのアーティストAtsouのコラボレーションによるディープなディープな曲。フロアの空気を一瞬で変えてしまうような強い磁力を持ってる。

Nice.... A deep, deep collaboration track between Moroccan DJ Amine K and Greek artist Atsou. It has a strong magnetic force that can change the air on the floor in an instant.

6. The Golden Fellas - Soul Heaven (David Penn Remix)

これは今年の8月にリリースされたもので全然「新築ハウス」じゃないんだけれど、WINTER SESSION 2021と題されたコンピに収録されていた、マドリードのDJ、David Pennのリミックス仕事が、最高に気持ちいいです。

This was released in August of this year, so it's not "new house" at all, but it's a great remix job by David Penn, a DJ from Madrid, that was included in a compilation titled Winter Session 2021. Simply enjoyable.

7. Marco Farone - Armaghetton (Aeroplane Extended Remix)

ははは、これも楽しいね。イタリアの街フィレンツェのMarco Faroneの「Armaghetton」という曲を、ベルギーのAeroplaneが完全なるディスコスタイルにリミックス。このラッパーが微妙にスキルフルじゃないのがいいのよ。こういうみんなが笑顔になれる曲、大好き。

Haha, this is fun too. A song called "Armaghetton" by Marco Farone from the Italian city of Florence, remixed into a complete disco style by Aeroplane from Belgium. I love that this rapper isn't like literaly skillful or aggressive. I love songs like this that make everyone smile.

【Track of the Week】Sebb Junior - U Got 2

「今週の1曲」はこの曲に決めました。この曲をリリースしたReel People Musicが拠点を構えるロンドンでは今日から厳しいロックダウンに入ったというニュースが届き、2021も引き続き厳しい状況が続きそうです。そんな中からリリースされる、こういった心躍る素敵なハウスミュージックに、僕は心から敬意を表したいと思います。最高の曲!

I've decided on this one as my "track of the week". Today we received the news that London, where Reel People Music is based, has entered a severe lockdown, and it looks like the situation will continue to be difficult in 2021. So I'd like to pay tribute to such an inspiring and wonderful house music release in amid of these difficulties. Great song!
