New House Exhibition - 今週のハウス新譜チェック 8.30

こんにちは。この週末は出かけていたので、帰宅した日曜夜の短い時間で新築ハウスミュージックをチェックする「秋葉原住宅」です。

Hello. I was out from Tokyo this weekend, so I'm "Akihabara Housing, LTd." as I checking out the new house music in the short time I had Sunday night when I got home.

ご紹介するのは、すべて僕が実際にダウンロード購入した曲。真剣勝負で選んだ楽曲たちです。さっそくご紹介していきますよ!

I'm going to show you all the songs that I've actually downloaded and purchased. These songs were chosen in a serious competition. Let's take a look at it right away!

1. Danny Kane feat. Princess Freesia - Wonderland （Art of Tones Extended Remix)

これは楽しい! Danny Kane「Wonderland」をフランスの粋なあいつことArt of Tonesがリミックス。ファンクでディスコでわくわくします。最高。

This is fun! Danny Kane's "Wonderland" is remixed by that dude from France, Art of Tones. Funk, disco and exciting. Best.

2. Atjazz - Everyone & Everything = (Rocco Rodamaal Chaos On Everything Remix)

これ格好いいなー。イギリスのベテランAtjazz師匠の曲を、こちらもDJとして20年のキャリアを積んだフランスのベテラン、Rocco Rodamaalがリミックス。ディープに聴かせます。

This is a cool one. This is a version of the song by British master Atjazz, remixed by French veteran Rocco Rodamaal, who has been a DJ for 20 years. Deeper than ever.

3. Opolopo - Moonwalk (Original Mix)

めっちゃいい!　スウェーデンの技巧派Opolopoの「SICKLA PART 1」に収録された、「Moonwalk」です。デトロイトテクノやシカゴハウスにも通じるような質感と共に、曲名通りの宇宙感で酔わせてくれます。

It's so good!　This track is "Moonwalk" from Swedish technophiles Opolopo's "SICKLA PART 1" ep. It's intoxicating with a sense of space as the song's name suggests, along with textures that would be familiar to Detroit Techno or Chicago House.

4. Micronoise - You Can Do It (Original Mix)

うわーこれもいいなー。90年代クラシックハウスの匂いも感じるMicronoiseの「You Can Do It」。「You Can Do It」みたいなポジティブなメッセージを世界中のフロア伝えていくのは、ハウスミュージックの永遠の役割だと思います。

Wow, I love this one too - "You Can Do It" by Micronoise with a whiff of 90s classic house. I think it's the eternal role of house music to carry a positive message like "You Can Do It" to floors around the world.

5. Lunabass - Trans - Gal Express

ロシアの工業都市ニジニ・ノヴゴロドのハウス系レーベルMoissからリリースされたこの曲は、オーストラリア・アデレードのアーティストLunabassの「Trans-Gal Express」。アーティスト名や曲名から期待される通りのスペイシーなトラック。素敵です。

Released on Moiss, a house label from the Russian industrial city of Nizhny Novgorod, the song "Trans-Gal Express" by Australian Adelaide artist Lunabass. The track is as spacy as you would expect from the artist's name and song title. Lovely.

6. DJ Passion - Justify (DJ Passion Vocal Mix)

今週最後にご紹介するのは、米ニューメキシコ州アルバカーキのPlatik Peopleからリリースされた、オランダ・ユトレヒト出身のDJ Passionで「Justify」。高らかに歌い上げるボーカルハウスの快感。いいね!

This week's final track is "Justify" by DJ Passion from Utrecht, Netherlands, released on Platik People in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. A high-pitched vocal house pleasure. Nice!

「今週の1曲」はこの曲に決めました。スウェーデンの信頼のレーベルLocal Talkからリリースされた、このOpolopoの深い音楽的教養から生み出された8分25秒の「Moonwalk」は、日が経つごとに長くなっていく、夏の終わりの夜にぴったりの音楽の旅を楽しませてくれます。例のウイルスのせいで旅行もままならない日々だけれど、せめて魂だけは自由に旅を続けたい、そんな気持ちになるディープな曲でした。

I've decided to go with this one for "Song of the Week." Released on Sweden's trusted label Local Talk, the 8-minute, 25-second "Moonwalk," created from Opolopo's deep musical cultivation, is an entertaining musical journey that grows longer and longer with each passing day, perfect for a late summer night. Lately we cannot travel due to that virus, but it is a deep song that made me feel like our soul IS free to continue traveling.
