みなさんこんにちは。ハウスミュージックラウンジ「秋葉原住宅」棟梁のspinnageです。夏も中盤、ヨーロッパも相当の暑さのようですが東京も暑いです。そんな東京の暑さを避けて、涼しい部屋から今週も世界の素敵な新築ハウスミュージックを紹介していきます。

Hello everyone. I'm spinnage, the director of the house music lounge Akihabara Housing, Ltd. It's the middle of summer, and while it seems to be quite hot in Europe, it's hot in Tokyo too. I'm avoiding the heat and introducing you to some great new-built house music from around the world from the cooler rooms.

All of the songs I will be featuring here are songs that I actually purchased as downloads. I chose these songs in a serious competition. Let's get started!

1) Jimpster, Crackazat - Natural Child

英エセックスでFreerange Recordsを率いるJimpsterとスウェーデン・ウプサラの彗星Crackazatのコラボと聞いてめちゃくちゃ期待してたこちら、イントロから軽やかに期待を超えてくる最高曲でした！

When I heard that this was a collaboration between Jimpster, who heads Freerange Records in Essex, UK, and comet Crackazat from Uppsala, Sweden, I had extremely high expectations, and this was a great song that lightly exceeded my expectations from the intro!

2) Demarkus Lewis - Vibin' on the One

毎週必ずリリースがあるダラスの鉄人・Demarkus Lewisの「Vibin' on the One」。彼の得意な、夏にぴったりの透明感が楽しめます。

"Vibin' on the One" by Dallas iron man Demarkus Lewis, who always has a release every week. You can enjoy his signature, summer-perfect transparency.

3) Jampikid - Always Loving

ルーマニア出身でドイツ在住のプロデューサー、Jampikidの「Always Loving」。タイトなリズムに叙情的なパッド。オルガンのリフ。好きな要素満載で、気に入りました。

'Always Loving' by Romanian-born, Germany-based producer Jampikid. Tight rhythm, lyrical pads. Organ riffs. It's full of elements I like.

4) Risk Assesment - It's Not Right But It's Okay (Grant Nelson Remix)

ロンドンのReel People Musicからリリースされた、Risk Assesmentの「It's Not Right But It's Okay」を、Grant Nelsonがリミックス。伸びやかな歌が嬉しいパワフルなハウスです。

Grant Nelson remixes Risk Assesment's 'It's Not Right But It's Okay', released on London's Reel People Music. It's a powerful house track with a pleasingly extended vocal.

5) gome - Elevator Man (Mike Dunn BlackBall Remix)

シカゴのベテランプロデューサー、Mike Dunnがリミックスを手がけた、gomeの「Elevator Man」。堅牢なグルーヴの上で端正なピアノが響くトラックです。ベースの音がめちゃ良い。大好き。

Veteran Chicago producer Mike Dunn remixes gome's 'Elevator Man'. The track features a neat piano over a robust groove. The bass sound is so good. Love it.

6) Terrace - Territorial

オランダのプロデューサー、Terraceの「Territorial」。 静謐で硬質な、ミニマルディープハウス。素晴らしい。

'Territorial' by Dutch producer Terrace. Tranquil, gritty, minimal deep house. Excellent.

7) Fletch - Can't Wait

ロンドン生まれのプロデューサー・Fletchの「Can't Wait」。寡黙なコードワークを背景に聞こえるキュートなボーカルがうれしいです。DJの2曲目とかにかけたい感じ。気に入りました。

'Can't Wait' by London-born producer Fletch. I'm glad to hear the cute vocals sounding against the taciturn chord work - it's like something you'd want to play as the second track on a DJ or something. Liked.

8) Folamour - Post Tenebras Lux

フランスのプロデューサー・Folamourの「Post Tenebras Lux」。ボコーダーボイスとトランペットにノスタルジックな響きをまとった、疾走感のあるさわやかなハウス。素敵。

"Post Tenebras Lux" by French producer Folamour. Fast, breezy house with vocoder voices and trumpets clad in nostalgic echoes. Lovely.

9) Boomclap - Coffee At Waylands

ロンドンのディープハウスマイスター・Atjazz率いるAtjazz Music Compnayからリリースされた、Boomclapの「Coffee At Waylands」。エレガントな展開にうっとりします。

Boomclap's 'Coffee At Waylands', released on Atjazz Music Compnay, led by London deep house meister Atjazz. The elegant development is enchanting.

10) Mark Knight, SGT Slick, Beverley Knight - I Wanna Be Your Lover

1979年のプリンスのヒット曲「I Wanna Be Your Lover」を、ロンドンの大御所Mark Knightがハウスカバー。パワフルでリラックスしたナイストラックに仕上がってます。

House cover of Prince's 1979 hit 'I Wanna Be Your Lover' by London's greatest, Mark Knight. It's a nice track, powerful and relaxed.

【Track of the Week】Jimpster, Crackazat - Natural Child

今週の「Track of the Week」はこの曲に決めました。おだやかなイントロから濃厚な名曲の雰囲気が漂います。Jimpsterのソリッドでオーガニックなサウンドと、Crackazatのエレガントな響きが素敵に溶け合っています。いまのところ今年一番好きな曲です。最高！

I've decided on this song for this week's Track of the Week. From the gentle intro, it has the feel of a rich classic, with Jimpster's solid, organic sound blending nicely with Crackazat's elegant resonance. This is my favourite song of the year so far. Best for!
