AHL New House Exhibition - 今週の新築ハウス紹介 June.12-June.13

こんにちは。ハウスミュージックラウンジ「秋葉原住宅」の棟梁、spinn.teramotoです。完全に夏の暑さを先取りしていたこの週末の東京から、いつものように新築ハウスミュージックを紹介していきます。

Hi there. This is Spinn.Teramoto, the director of the house music lounge Akihabara Housing, Ltd. As usual, I'll be introducing new-built house music from this weekend in Tokyo, where we were completely ahead of the summer heat.

ここから取り上げるのは、すべて僕が実際にダウンロード購入した曲。真剣勝負で選んだ楽曲たちです。さっそくご紹介していきますよ!

The songs I'm going to cover here are all ones I've actually downloaded and purchased. I'm going to introduce them to you right away!

1. Block & Crown, Paul Parsons - Reach for the sky

ここしばらく堰を切ったように毎週毎週大量のリリースがでてくるオランダのBlock & Crownの「Reach for the sky」。すごく分かりやすいスペースディスコ。ビーチで聴いたら最高だろうな。

”Reach for the sky" by Block & Crown, a Dutch artist that has been releasing a lot of music every week for a while. A-class space disco comes so quickly. It would be great to listen to it on the beach.

2. CEV's - (A) In Sof (Demarkus Lewis Remix)

こちらも毎週リリースが続くダラスの鉄人・Demarkus Lewisの新規リミックス案件。フランス・リールのアーティストCEV'sの「(A)In Sof」をDemarkus Lewisらしい透明感のある響きで仕立てています。好き好き。

This is another new remix project from Dallas iron man Demarkus Lewis, who continues to release weekly. This one is a remix of "(A)In Sof" by CEV's from Lille, France, with Demarkus Lewis' signature transparent sound. I like it.

3. Sebb Junior - You Want My Love

スペイン・グラナダのアーティスト、Sebb Juniorの新曲。彼らしい、エレガントに移ろう音像のランドスケープにどんどん引き込まれてしまいます。最高。

This is a new track by Sebb Junior, an artist from Granada, Spain. The elegantly shifting soundscape that is typical of Sebb Junior's style draws you in. The best.

4. Oscar Barila - In The Sky

スペインの港町ヴァレンシアのアーティスト、Oscar Barilaの新曲「In The Sky」が、シカゴの信頼の老舗ハウス系レーベルLarge Musicからリリースされました。タイトなベース、華やかなE piano。端正で安心できる仕立てに僕は身体を全て預けられる。いいね!

"In The Sky", a new track by Oscar Barila from the Spanish port city of Valencia, has just been released on Chicago's venerable and trusted house label Large Music. Tight bass, gorgeous e-piano, and a neat, reassuring tailoring that I can put my whole body into. Nice!

5. Fede Aliprandi - Forest Side

ウクライナのWhoyostroからリリースされたのは、アルゼンチン・ブエノスアイレスのアーティスト、Fede Aliprandiの「Forest Side」。ゴリゴリしたダークなベースラインの上にクリアなシンセのきらめきが重なる。大好き。

Released by Ukraine's Whoyostro is "Forest Side" by Buenos Aires, Argentina artist Fede Aliprandi. Clear synth sparkles over a gory, dark bassline. I love it.

6. Simone Vitullo - My Darling (Enoo Napa Remix)

南アフリカ・ウムラジのEnoo Napaがリミックスした、イタリアのアーティストSimone Vitulloの「My Darling」。Enoo Napaらしい重力の強さをもったアフロハウスです。格好いい!

Enoo Napa of Umlazi, South Africa, remixed Italian artist Simone Vitullo's "My Darling," an Afro-house track with the Enoo Napa's signature deep gravity. I love it!

7. Craig Knight, Tom Caruso - Walk

ロンドンのGlasgow Undergroundからリリースされた、英スウィンドンのDJ、Craig Knightの「Walk」。物静かな音像の中に、タイトなベースとセクシーなボイスが浮かんでは消える素敵ディープハウスです。

This is "Walk" by Craig Knight, a DJ from Swindon, UK, released by Glasgow Underground in London. It's a lovely deep house track with tight bass and a sexy voice that floats in and out of a quiet soundscape.

8. M-High - Never would

これもいいなあ。アムステルダム出身・M-Highの「Never World」は、ジャズになる前のテクノ期Ian O'Brienのような叙情的なディープテックで大好きな曲でした。展開もドラマチック。いいね。

I like this one too. I loved "Never World" by M-High from Amsterdam, which is lyrical deep tech like Ian O'Brien's techno period before it became deeply jazz era. Dramatic development. Nice.

9. Babert - I Need Your Love

イタリア・ベローナのアーティスト、Babertの「I Need Your Love」。この濃厚な90年代ハウスクラシックの香り。粘るベースライン、心躍るハンドクラップ、高揚感を誘うボーカル。全てが好みです。最高!

”I Need Your Love" by Babert, an artist from Verona, Italy. This is a rich flavor of 90's house classic. The persistent bass line, the heart-pounding handclaps, the uplifting vocals. I love it all. The best!

【Track of the Week】Oscar Barila - In The Sky

「今週の1曲」はこの曲に決めました。シカゴの老舗、Large musicが地道に届けてくれる深い味わいハウスミュージックの数々に、僕は絶大な信頼を寄せています。この曲も、そんな信頼を裏切らない、胸が熱くなるようなストレートなハウスでした。素晴らしいです。

I've decided on this one as my "Track of the Week". I'm a big believer in Chicago's venerable Large music, which has been steadily delivering deep house music without no commercialism. This song did not betray that trust, and was a straightforward house music that made my heart burn. It's wonderful.
