こんにちは。DJミキサーに例えるとVUメーターが真っ赤になっちゃってるような、ピーキーな暑さの東京で週末を過ごした、ハウスミュージックラウンジ「秋葉原住宅」棟梁のSpinnageです。
Hello, I'm Spinnage, the director of the house music lounge 'Akihabara Housing, Ltd.' And I spent the weekend in Tokyo in the peak-ish heat, like a DJ Mixer with its VU meter of all channels turned bright red.
さて、今週もいつものように、世界の新築ハウスミュージックを紹介していきます。ここから取り上げるのは、すべて僕が実際にダウンロード購入した曲。真剣勝負で選んだ楽曲たちです。さっそくご紹介していきますよ!
Now, as usual, this week I'm going to introduce you to some new-built house music from around the world. All of the songs I will be featuring here are songs that I actually purchased as downloads. I chose these songs in a serious competition. Let's get started!

1) Opolopo, Angela Johnson - The Ones You Love
ストックホルムの魔術師・OpolopoがボーカルにAngela Johnsonを迎えた「The Ones You Love」。ファンキーで華やかで最高です。

2) Ross Couch - Keep On Believing
英グラスゴーのプロデューサー、Ross Couchの「Keep On Believeing」。彼らしい空間の広いハウス。朝方に日の出と共に聴きたい曲です。

3) Zetbee - Magnifique
チェコ・ブルノのプロデューサー、Zetbeeの新曲「Magnifique」。パワフルなトラックです。これは気持ちいい！

4) Daven Ball - One Family (New York Hot Step Dub)
Daven Bellの「One Family (New York Hot Step Dub)」。90年代ハウスを現代的に解釈したような独特な音空間が格好いいです。

5) David Bay - Reverse Engineer
ベルリンのToy Tonicsレーベルからリリースされた、David Bayの「Reverse Engineer」。猥雑な雰囲気のあるベースラインにスクラッチが重なる楽しい曲。

6) DannyP, TB-203 - Movin'
DannyPとTB-203の2人による「Movin'」。ブリブリしたベースラインとラップが印象的なトラックです。面白いー。

7) Manuel Tur - Hip Control
先週紹介したYuu Udagawaさんのチャートに入ってた、ドイツ・エッセンのプロデューサー、Manuel Tur「Hip Control」。2003年の曲ですがチェック漏れてました。楽曲構成に彼の理知的なスタイルを感じます。格好いい！

8) James Card - Feeling Mumbled
オーストラリア・アデレードを拠点とするプロデューサー、James Curdの「Feeling Mumbled」。ゴムのようにしなるシンセベースの音が大好きでずっと聴いてしまう。

9) Gianni Bini, Niki Muxx - Calcurated (Bini & Martini Are Back Remix Extended)
イタリア・ビアレッジョのプロデューサー、Gianni Biniの「Calculated」。今年2月にリリースされた曲です。Eベースのグルーヴが心地良いストレートなハウス。気に入りました。

10) Rawdio - Bigga & Bolda
ベルギーのプロデューサー、Rawdioの「Bigga & Bolda」。2重にかさねられた1小節のシンセリフでずっとプッシュし続けるの格好いい。男気溢れるトラックです。
'Bigga & Bolda' by Belgian producer Rawdio, a cool double-barreled one-bar synth riff that keeps pushing all the way. It's a manish track.

今週の「Track of the Week」にはこの曲を選びました。Angela Johnsonのボーカルも素晴らしいし、ワウの効いたEベースがはちゃめちゃにファンキーで心が躍ります。
I've chosen this song for this week's 'Track of the Week' - Angela Johnson's vocals are fantastic, and the wah-wah E-bass is crazy funky and mind-blowing.

大好きなまんが『正反対な君と僕』の大好きな20話に触発されて作った「Episode 20」という曲をタイトルトラックにしたEPです。Agua Saladaを率いるDeephopeによるエレガントでリラックスしたバージョン2曲に加えて、シンセベースで盛り上げるカップリング曲「Transfer」を収録しました。気に入ってもらえたら嬉しいです。
This EP features the song 'Episode 20' as the title track, inspired by my favourite 20 episodes of my favourite manga 'Opposites You and Me' In addition to two elegant and relaxed versions of the song by Deephope, who leads Agua Salada, The coupling track 'Transfer' is a synth-based rousing track. We hope you like it.

MAXZIM - Yeahyeah (Spinnage Remix)
フランス・ナントのプロデューサー、MAXZIMの「Yeahyeah」を、僕Spinnageがリミックスしました。原曲の美味しいところを極力残しつつ、シンセベースなど僕なりの味も加えて仕上げたつもり。すごく楽しくリミックスできました。
I, Spinnage, have remixed 'Yeahyeah' by Nantes, France-based producer MAXZIM. I tried to keep the best parts of the original song as much as possible, while adding my own flavour to it, such as the synth bass. I had a lot of fun remixing it.
