New House Exhibition - 今週のハウス新譜チェック 11.14-11.15

こんにちは、「秋葉原住宅」です。空の色も朝の寒さもすっかり冬を感じさせるようになってきたここ東京から、世界中の新築ハウスミュージックを今週もご紹介していきます。

Hello, this is Akihabara Housing, Ltd. This week we're back with another round of new house music from around the world, as the skies and morning chill are starting to feel like winter here in Tokyo.

ハウスミュージックラウンジ「秋葉原住宅」棟梁のspinn.teramotoがその年の新譜をチェックしご紹介する世界の新築ハウスの展示場、「Antenna 2020」。毎週土曜日は「いつものアーティスト・いつものレーベルの新譜チェック」、そして日曜日は「いつもと違うジャンルやアーティストを探る」という方針でチェックしています。

The master of the house music lounge "Akihabara Jutaku (Akihabara Housing, Ltd.)", Spinn.Teramoto, checks out and introduces the new music of the year at "Antenna 2020", an exhibition space for new house music from around the world. Every Saturday, I check out the new releases from my usual artists and labels, and on Sundays, I explore different genres and artists.

ご紹介するのは、すべて僕が実際にダウンロード購入した曲。真剣勝負で選んだ楽曲たちです。さっそくご紹介していきますよ!

I'm going to show you all the songs that I've actually downloaded and purchased. These songs were chosen in a serious competition. Let's take a look at it right away!

1. Meda - For Love (Art of Tones Classic Mix)

フランス・パリを拠点に活躍しているMedaの「For Love」を、同じくフランスの粋人Art of Tonesがリミックス。クラシックハウスを思わせる温かな音像による優しい抱擁に、身を委ねることができます。最高です。

Paris, France-based Meda's "For Love" is remixed by another French chicman, Art of Tones. You can surrender to the gentle embrace of a warm soundscape reminiscent of a classic house. Best of all.

2. Sebb Junior - Digital Love

スペイン・グレナダのSebb Juniorから届いた痛快な曲。華やかなディスコテイストを空間に漂わせつつ、しっかりローを出してフロアを揺らしていく感じが素敵。

A exhilarating song from Sebb Junior from Grenada, Spain. I love the way it shakes the floor with a gorgeous disco feel to the space, while still delivering a solid low.

3. Pavel Svetlove - Groove Jam (Sasha Virus Remix)

ロシアで5番目に大きい商工業都市、ニジニ・ノヴゴロドに拠点を構えるMoissからリリースされた、Pavel Svetloveの「Groove Jam」。リミックスはウラジオストクのSasha Virus。成田から2時間の極東の街でリミックスされた素晴らしいグルーヴ。好きです。

"Groove Jam" by Pavel Svetlove is released on Moiss, which is based in Nizhny Novgorod, the fifth largest commercial and industrial city in Russia. Remixed by Vladivostok's Sasha Virus, a great groove remixed in the Far East, two hours from Narita, New International Airport, Tokyo. I like it.

4. Moon Rocket - Paranoia

ロンドンのPapaからリリースされたのは、イタリア出身で現在はマイアミを拠点としている DJ・Moon Rocketの「Paranoia」。どこかアフロハウス的でもあるマジカルな反復が体の奥に響いてきます。

Released on London's Papa is "Paranoia" by Italian-born and now Miami-based DJ Moon Rocket. The magical repetition of the song, which has an Afro-house feel to it, reverberates in the back of your body.

5. Topic, A7S - Why Do You Lie To Me (KC Lights Remix) ft. Lil Baby

TopicとA7Sの「Why Do You Lie to Me」を、イギリス・グラスゴー出身のDJ/プロデューサーのKC Lightsがリミックス。ポップでありつつ、ディープハウスにも合わせられそうな優雅さもあって、好きです。

Topic and A7S' "Why Do You Lie to Me" is remixed by KC Lights, a DJ/producer from Glasgow, England. I like it because it's pop, but also has an elegance that could be matched with deep house.

6. Animist - Feel It

これはエレガント。イギリスのノッティンガムのDJ/プロデューサー・Animistの「Feel It」がいいですね。リリースはウクライナのレーベルWhyostro。

This is elegant. I like "Feel It" by DJ/producer Animist from Nottingham, UK. It was released by Ukrainian label Whyostro.

7. DJOKO - Transcendent State

そのWhyostroの過去カタログから2019年にリリースされた曲で、ドイツのDJ/プロデューサー・DJOKOの「Transcendent State」も良かった。これも優雅な仕上がり。初期イアン・オブライアンを思い出すテイストです。気に入りました。

Another good 2019 release from that Whyostro's past catalog was German DJ/producer DJOKO's "Transcendent State". It's another elegant finish. It's a taste that reminds me of early Ian O'Brian. I loved it.

8. Lohrasp Kansara - I Can't Tell You

これはいい圧! 体が燃えます。DJ/プロデューサーであり俳優でもあるLohrasp Kansaraの「I Can't Tell You」。リリースはUKのSosumi。どちらの街もCOVID-19が大変だろうと思うけど、そんな中からでもこんなにも華やかな新築ハウスミュージックがリリースされることが嬉しい。

This is good pressure! My body burns; "I Can't Tell You" by DJ/producer and actor Lohrasp Kansara. Released in the UK by Sosumi, I'm sure COVID-19 is going to be hard to come by in either city, but I'm glad to hear such gorgeous new house music being released, even from the middle of it all.

9．Catz 'N Dog ＆Gerd Janson - Modern Romance

ポーランドの2人組Catz 'N DogzとドイツのGerd Jansonのコラボ曲で「Modern Romance」。ディスコテイストで始まりつつ、だんだんそこから遊離してスケールがアップしていく感じがドラマチック。最高です。

"Modern Romance" is a collaboration between Polish duo Catz 'N Dogz and Germany's Gerd Janson. It starts off with a disco feel, but gradually deviates and scales up, which is dramatic. It's a great song.

10. Per Qx, Elias Vravo - It Ain't Over (David Penn Extended Edit)

これいいな!　UKのアーティストPer QxとElias Vravoのコラボ曲で「IT AIN´T OVER」。リリースはスペイン・マドリードのUrbanaで、オーナーのDavid Penn自らが華やかにextended Editしています。

I like this one!　”It Ain't Over" is a collaboration between UK artists Per Qx and Elias Vravo. It's released at Urbana in Madrid, Spain, with a gorgeous extended edit by owner David Penn himself.

【Track of the Week】Per Qx, Elias Vravo - It Ain't Over (David Penn Extended Edit)

「今週の曲」はこの曲に決めました。リフレインするピアノの音が僕の心に響きまくったのです。こういう曲をパーティで聴きたいですね。本当に最高!

I decided on this song as my "Track of the Week. The refrain of the piano sound resonated with me a lot. I would love to hear a song like this at a party. It really is the best!

きたる12月5日の14時から20時まで、テクノパーティ秋葉原重工と共に秋葉原住宅も1Fラウンジスペースにてリアルパーティを開催します。会場はおなじみ、秋葉原のMOGRAです。

On the upcoming December 5th from 2pm to 8pm, Akihabara Housing Ltd. will hold a real party at the lounge space on the 1st floor along with the Techno Party Akihabara Heavy Industry Inc. The venue is the familiar MOGRA in Akihabara.

In this event of the Akihabara Housing ltd., I will be introducing the house music in Chicago, London, Berlin, Stockholm, Paris... in a "World Tour" mode, in order to shorten the distance between us and the cities of the world that have become so far away due to the virus.

DJは私Spinn.Teramotoが一人で6時間のロングセットをプレイします。一人で6時間とか未知の領域すぎてどうなることかわかりませんが、ご都合のつく皆さんはぜひ秋葉原MOGRAに遊びにきていただけたら、そして目撃していただけたらと思います。よろしくお願いします!

Spinn.Teramoto will be playing a 6 hour long set by myself. I don't know what will happen to me, but if you can make it, please come to Akihabara MOGRA and witness it! I'll be looking forward to seeing you all!
