こんにちは。ハウスミュージックラウンジ「秋葉原住宅」棟梁のSpinnageです。いよいよクリスマスも大晦日も間近に迫ってきた東京から、今週も世界から届いた新築ハウスミュージックを紹介していきます。

Hello. I'm Spinnage, the director of the house music lounge "Akihabara Housing, Ltd." With Christmas and New Year's Eve finally around the corner in Tokyo, this week I will continue to introduce new-built house music from around the world.

ここから取り上げるのは、すべて僕が実際にダウンロード購入した曲。真剣勝負で選んだ楽曲たちです。さっそくご紹介していきますよ!

All of the songs I will be featuring here are songs that I actually purchased as downloads. I chose these songs in a serious competition. Let's get started!

1) Atjazz - Touch the Sun (2022 mix)

ロンドンのディープハウスマイスター、Atjazzが21年前にリリースした名作アルバム「Labfunk」が2022年に蘇るリノベーション案件。オリジナルと劇的に変えてきた「Touch the Sun」の2022 mixは本当に素晴らしくて震える。最高！

London deep house meisters Atjazz have released their classic album 'Labfunk' 21 years ago, and this renovation project brings it back to life in 2022. The 2022 mix of 'Touch the Sun', which has been dramatically changed from the original, is truly amazing and trembling. It's the best!!!

2) Dj Disciple feat. Beatweezy - Christmas, A Beautiful Holiday (Deez Cookies and Milk Mix)

素敵。ダラスの鉄人・Demarkus Lewisがリミックスしたのは、DJ Discipleの「Christmas, a beautiful holiday」。クリスマスを彩るきらめく音のオーナメント。

Lovely. Dallas iron man Demarkus Lewis remixed 'Christmas, a beautiful holiday' by DJ Disciple. A sparkling ornament of sound for Christmas.

3) Gabriele Ranucci - Ride by Ride

イタリア・ナポリのプロデューサー、Gabriele Ranucciの「Ride by Ride」。コンプレッサーで潰したキックにゴツゴツしたベースライン、荒々しい質感が痛快です。キレイ目な曲の流れで一旦こういう曲を挟むのが好きです。

'Ride by Ride' by Naples, Italy producer Gabriele Ranucci. The compressor-crushed kick, thumping bassline and rough textures are painful. I like to intersperse songs like this once in the flow of a beautiful song.

4) Ryan Alex - Back in The Swing

ロンドンのNo Fussからリリースされた、カリフォルニアのベイエリアを拠点とするRyan Alexの「Back in The Swing」。絹のように流麗な音捌きが印象的な曲です。

'Back in The Swing' by California Bay Area-based Ryan Alex, released on London's No Fuss label. The song is impressive for its silky, fluid sound processing.

5) Ryan Alex - On My Side

Ryan Alexの曲をもう1曲。この「On My Side」も音の粒立ちが上質で聴いててすごく心地良いです。今週で一気にファンになりました。今後もフォローしていきたいと思います。

Another Ryan Alex song. This 'On My Side' also has a fine grain of sound and is very pleasant to listen to. I've become a fan in one fell swoop this week. I will continue to follow him in the future.

6) Manics - Better Now

ロサンゼルスの2人組・Manicsの「Better Now」。独特のタイトな質感を持つベースとシンセが面白い。ポップに聞けるのも良き。気に入りました。

'Better Now' by Los Angeles duo Manics. Interesting bass and synths with a unique tight texture. It's also good to listen to pop. Liked.

7) Gorge - Yasuo

オランダ・マンハイムのプロデューサー、Gorgeの「Yasuo」。暗闇を照らす一条の光のような、シンプルで強いディープハウスです。格好いい！

'Yasuo' by Dutch Mannheim producer Gorge. Simple, strong deep house, like a ray of light in the darkness. Cool!

8) Don Swing - Baby Let Me Love You

シカゴの名門レーベル・Large Musicの年間コンピレーションから、ドイツ・ハンブルグのプロデューサー、Don Swingの「Baby Let Me Love You」。レイヤーで塊になったキックが垂直に振り下ろされる、痛快な曲です。

'Baby Let Me Love You' by Hamburg, Germany producer Don Swing, from the annual compilation on the prestigious Chicago label Large Music. It's a exhilarating song with layered, lumpy kicks that swing down vertically.

9) Wipe the Needle - On Time WTN 4X4 Dubstrumental

On Time (feat. Sacha Williamson) (WTN 4X4 Dubstrumental) by Wipe The Needle, Sacha Williamson on Beatport

Dave Lee率いるZ Recordsの年間コンピレーションから、Wipe the Needle「On Time」（3月に紹介しましたね）のDubstrumental mixバージョン。きらめくピアノとほのかに香るストリングスが心地良いハウスです。

Dubstrumental mix version of Wipe the Needle 'On Time' (I introduced it in March) from Dave Lee's annual Z Records compilation. It's a pleasant house tune with sparkling piano and subtle strings.

10) Tony Lionni - Lets Get Away

イギリスのプロデューサー、Tony Lionniの「Lets Get Away」。凍てつく冬の夜空のようなクリアで緊張感ただようトラック。格好いい！

'Lets Get Away' by British producer Tony Lionni. Clear and tense like a frozen winter night sky. Cool!

【Track of the Week】Atjazz - Touch the Sun (2022 mix)

「今週の1曲」はこの曲に決めました。21年前のオリジナルが大好きだったということもあるけれど、2022年にあわせて内容を劇的に変えてきたところに感銘を受けたのです。ぜひ21年前のバージョンと聴き比べてみてください。よりタイトかつドラマティックになった2022年バージョンの輝きが伝わるんじゃないかと思います。

I decided on this song for 'Track of the Week', partly because I loved the original 21 years ago, but also because I was impressed by how dramatically they've changed the content to suit 2022. I urge you to listen to it and compare it with the version from 21 years ago. I think you will hear the brilliance of the 2022 version, which is tighter and more dramatic.
