みなさんこんにちは。ハウスミュージックラウンジ「秋葉原住宅」棟梁のspinnageです。たまに晴れたときに見える雲の形にすっかり夏を感じる東京から、今週も世界の新築ハウスミュージックを紹介していきます。

Hello everyone. I'm spinnage, the director of the house music lounge "Akihabara Housing, Ltd." From Tokyo, where the shape of the clouds you can see when it's sunny makes you feel like it's completely summer, I'll be introducing you to new-built house music from around the world.

ここから取り上げるのは、すべて僕が実際にダウンロード購入した曲。真剣勝負で選んだ楽曲たちです。さっそくご紹介していきますよ!

All of the songs I will be featuring here are songs that I actually purchased as downloads. I chose these songs in a serious competition. Let's get started!

1) Demarkus Lewis - Caught in the Deep End

米ダラスの鉄人、Demarkus Lewisの「Caught in the Deep End」。彼らしい、軽やかで透明感のあるE.pianoのコードワークが心地良いです。

2) Steve Mill - Whatever It Takes (Manuel Sahagun Remix)

アルゼンチン・ブエノスアイレスのプロデューサー、Manuel Sahagunがリミックスを手がけた、Steve Mill「Whatever It Takes」。原曲にはないクラビネットが華やかに踊る楽しい仕上がりです。

Steve Mill 'Whatever It Takes' remixed by Buenos Aires, Argentina producer Manuel Sahagun. The result is a fun finish with gorgeous dancing clavinet, which is not present in the original mix.

3) Borka & The Gang - L.O.V.E

ドイツ・ハノーバーのプロデューサー、Borka & The Gangの「L.O.V.E」。シンコペーションするビートとスラップベースがクールなトラックです。

4) Offshore and Coen - Where is the Soul？

ロンドンのディープハウスマイスター・Atjazz率いるAtjazz Music Companyからリリースされたのは、オランダ・ハーグの2人組・Offshore and Coenの「Where is the Soul?」。エレガントな音像にアシッドなベースが映えるトラックです。最高。

Released on Atjazz Music Company, led by London deep house meisters Atjazz, is 'Where is the Soul?' by Dutch The Hague duo Offshore and Coen. The track has an elegant soundscape with acidic bass. Best for.

5) James Cole - Avec Moi

ロッテルダムのプロデューサー、James Coleの「Avec Moi」。暗闇にきらめく、疾走感のあるトラック。気に入りました。

6) Ear Funk, Andre Espeut - Elevate Your Soul

デンマークのプロデューサー、Ear FunkとAndre Espeutの「Elevate Your Soul」。輝くピアノリフにソウルフルなボーカル。90年代クラシックハウスのニュアンスも感じるトラックです。大好き！

'Elevate Your Soul' by Danish producers Ear Funk and Andre Espeut. Soulful vocals over a sparkling piano riff, this track has nuances of classic 90s house. Loves!

7) Felipe Gordon, Krewcial - The Answer ( Session Victim Remix)

ベルリンとハンブルグを拠点とする2人組・Session Victimがリミックスを手がけた、Felipe GordonとKrewcialの「The Answer」。スリリングなテンションがひたすら続くディープハウス。素敵。

Berlin and Hamburg-based duo Session Victim remix Felipe Gordon and Krewcial's 'The Answer'. Deep house with thrilling tension that just keeps on going. Lovely.

8) Mike Dunn - U Gotta Do It to Tha Muzik

アメリカ・シカゴのベテラン、Mike Dunnの「U Gotta Do It to Tha Muzik」。ハウスミュージックの初期衝動を感じさせる、プリミティブで笑顔になれる曲です。ローズピアノの甘い響きと、リードシンセの描くメロディが楽しい。

'U Gotta Do It to Tha Muzik' by American Chicago veteran Mike Dunn. It's a primitive, smile-inducing song that evokes the early impulses of house music. The sweet sounds of the rose piano and the melody painted by the lead synths are delightful.

9) K-Lone - Gel

イギリスのプロデューサー、K-Loneの「Gel」。808STATEの名曲Pacificを思い出すような、1コードで2小節続くシンセパッドが最高。

10) Cinthie - Piano Heaven

独ベルリンの女性プロデューサー、Cinthieの「Piano Heaven」。曲名通り、ピアノリフが光り輝くトラックです。これは気持ちいいな。

'Piano Heaven' by German-Berlin female producer Cinthie. As the name of the track suggests, the piano riff shines through. This one feels good.

【Track of the Week】Offshore and Coen - Where is the Soul？

今週の「Track of the Week」にはこの曲を選びました。イントロの水が流れるようなパッドの音にKORG M1の面影を見て嬉しくなったところに、Morelleのセクシーなポエトリーリーディングが重なってきて、いきなり名曲の雰囲気出してきてる。エレクトロニックでエレガント。これぞディープハウスという感じ。最高！

I chose this song for this week's Track of the Week. I was delighted to hear a hint of Korg M1 in the watery pad sound of the intro, and then Morelle's sexy poetry reading comes on top, and suddenly it has the atmosphere of a great song. Electronic and elegant. This is what deep house is all about. Great!
