New House Exhibition - 今週のハウス新譜チェック 9.5-9.6

こんにちは。日本の沖縄や九州地方、そして朝鮮半島に接近している強力な台風10号が本当に心配な週末。その影響で天気が不安定で突然雷雨が降り出したりしている東京から、秋葉原住宅です。

The master of the house music lounge "Akihabara Jutaku (Akihabara Housing, Ltd.)", spinn.teramoto, checks out and introduces the new music of the year at "Antenna 2020", an exhibition space for new house music from around the world. Every Saturday, I check out the new releases from my usual artists and labels, and on Sundays, I explore different genres and artists.

1. Art of Tones - Thunder

フランスの粋人・Ludovic Llorca＝Art of Tonesの新譜が、Fred EverythingのLazy Dayzからリリース。コシのあるベースラインを追いかけてると自然に身体が動き出す、愉快な曲です。楽しい!

The new ep by French chicman Ludovic Llorca a.k.a. Art of Tones is out now on Fred Everything's Lazy Dayz. It's a delightful song that naturally gets your body moving as you chase a sturdy bass line. Fun!

2. St Germain - Rose rouge (Atjazz Galaxy Aart Remix)

これも素敵だ…。フランスのベテランアーティストSt Germain「Rose Rouge」の、こちらもイギリスのベテランAtjazzによるリミックス。この抑えたトーンでしっかり聴かせる感じ、まさにハウスの醍醐味。

This is lovely too.... This is a remix of French veteran St Germain's "Rose Rouge", also by UK veteran Atjazz. The restrained tone of this remix is a real pleasure of house.

3. Mo'Cream - Party Time

シカゴに拠点を構える信頼の老舗ハウス系レーベルLarge Musicからリリースされた、Mo'Creamの「Party Time」。過ぎていく夏を惜しむかのような華やかさ。甘く香るピアノの1音目から最高の気持ちになります。

"Party Time" by Mo'Cream is released on the trusted and well-established house label Large Music, based in Chicago. It's gorgeous, as if to spare you the summer that's passing. From the first note of the sweetly scented piano, you'll feel great.

4. Opolopo - Silkworm

先日リリースされたEP「Sickla Pt.1」も最高だった、スウェーデンのOpolopoから、早速pt.2が到着。1曲目「Silkworms」が最高の最高の最高すぎます。beatpoertのエクスクルーシブみたいで、youtubeやSpotifyやBandcampでは聴けないんですよね。買うしかない!

From Sweden's Opolopo, whose recently released EP "Sickla Pt. 1" was also great, pt. 2 arrives quickly. the first track "Silkworms" is the best of the best, too good to be true. It seems like a beatpoert exclusive, you can't hear it on youtube, spotify, Bandcamp amd so on now. You have to buy it!

5. Coflo, Lee Wilson - Fool For You (Original Mix)

スウェーデンのLocal Talkからは、Opolopoの「Sickla Pt. 2」と共にもう１枚、これまた最高な歌物ハウスのCoflo「Fool for You」がリリースされました。Lee Wilsonの優しい歌声が天上から降りてきて頬を撫でるようです。

Another release from Sweden's Local Talk, along with Opolopo's "Sickla Pt. 2," is another great vocal house Coflo "Fool for You," with Lee Wilson's gentle voice descending from the heavens to caress your cheeks.

6. Masunoji - One More Blink

日曜日の１曲目はDMにてご本人から紹介をいただいた曲で、升ノ字さんがチリ・サンチアゴのLife Bypassからリリースした「One More Blink」。クラシックハウスやテクノの手触りと共に、万華鏡みたいに意外な景色を見せる展開が楽しいです。

The Sunday's first track is "One More Blink," which was introduced to me by the man himself in a Direct Message and was released by Masunoji on Life Bypass in Santiago, Chile. I enjoy the kaleidoscopic, unexpected views that unfold along with the touch of classic house and techno.

7. Himmy K -Sahai (SURAJ & Shyam Mandavia Remix)

ケニアの首都ナイロビにあるEwaso RecordsからリリースされたHimmy K「Sahai」を、同じくナイロビ在住のSuraji & Shyam Mandaviaの2人がリミックスした曲。反復する、芯の太いリズムが気持ちいい。

A remix of Himmy K's "Sahai", released on Ewaso Records in Kenya's capital city of Nairobi, by Suraji & Shyam Mandavia, also based in Nairobi. The repetitive, core, thick rhythm is a nice touch.

8. Block & Crown, Paul Parsons - Take It Underground (Club Mix)

ひたすら楽しいだけのハウス、いいですよね。オランダのBlock & CrownとPaul Parsonsによる「Take it Underground (Club Mix)」。きらきらしてて、聴いててどんどん機嫌がよくなります。

It's nice to have a house that's just fun. "Take it Underground (Club Mix)" by Block & Crown and Paul Parsons from the Netherlands. It's sparkling, and I'm getting better and better as I listen to it.
