こんにちは。ハウスミュージックラウンジ「秋葉原住宅」の棟梁、spinn.teramotoです。この週末にも雨が降った東京から、いつものように新築ハウスミュージックをチェックしていきます。

Hi there. This is spinn.teramoto, the director of the house music lounge "Akihabra Housing, Ltd." As usual, I'll be checking out new-built house music from Tokyo, where it rained again this weekend.

ここから取り上げるのは、すべて僕が実際にダウンロード購入した曲。真剣勝負で選んだ楽曲たちです。さっそくご紹介していきますよ!

I'm going to show you all the following songs that I've actually downloaded and purchased. These songs were chosen in a serious competition. Let's take a look at it right away!

1. Sebb Junior - Blessed In Life

シカゴを拠点とする信頼のハウス系レーベルLarge Musicから、スペイン・グラナダのハウス・マイスター、Sebb Juniorのお洒落極まった素敵ボーカルハウスが届きました。もー最高最高最高!

Large Music, a trusted house label based in Chicago, has sent us this wonderfully stylish vocal house track by Granada, Spain's house meister Sebb Junior. It's great, great, great, great!

2. Saint Paul - Good Can Only Bring Good

調べても詳細がよくわからないけど好リリースが続いてるHive Labelから、フランス・リヨンのDJ、Saint Paulの「Good Can Only Bring Good」。スモークが煙る音像の中で、ジャズ的展開とラテンパーカッションが響く。良い。

Good Can Only Bring Good" by Saint Paul, a DJ from Lyon, France, was released on Hive Label, a label that has been releasing a lot of good music despite the fact that I couldn't find any details about it. In the smoke-filled soundscape, a jazz-like development and Latin percussion echoes. Good.

3. Jacopo SB - Our Music Our Love

ロシア連邦カルムイク共和国の首都エリスタを拠点とするレーベルLisztomaniaから届いたのは、イタリアのアーティスト・Jacopo SBの「Our Muisc Our Love」。ローファイ仕立ての音響に、透き通ったノスタルジアが重なる不思議曲。

Lisztomania, a label based in Elista, the capital of the Republic of Kalmyk, Russia, presents "Our Muisc Our Love" by Italian artist Jacopo SB. The song is a wonder of lo-fi acoustics and crystal clear nostalgia.

4. Larry Peace - Burnin' (Deep Mix)

米ニューメキシコ州のレーベルPlastik People Digitalから、ミネソタ州出身Larry Peaceの「Burnin'」。オリジナルも悪くないけど、このDub的なDeep Mixがバウンシーかつ優雅で気に入りました。

"Burnin'" by Larry Peace from Minnesota on Plastik People Digital, a label based in New Mexico, USA. The original is not bad, but I liked this Dub-like Deep Mix for its bounciness and elegance.

5. Paulo Labello - Make It Hot (Fistfunk Remix)

DJ Spen率いる米バルティモアのQuantizeのサブレーベルUnquantizeからリリースされた、Paulo Labello「Make it Hot」のremix ep。ロンドンのFistfunkのクラシック仕立てのリミックスが最高に好きなやつでした。

A remix ep of Paulo Labello's "Make it Hot" released on DJ Spen's Quantize sub-label Unquantize in Baltimore, U.S. I loved the classic remix by London's Fistfunk.

6. Harry Romero feat. Jessica Eve - It Hurts

NYで20年のキャリアを誇るベテラン、Harry Romeroの「It Hurts」。トライバルなリズムが変幻自在に響き、ドラマチックに展開します。格好いい!

"It Hurts" by Harry Romero, a 20-year veteran of the New York scene. The tribal rhythms of the song resonate and develop dramatically. So cool!

7. Dubdogz, Ida Corr, Hedegaard - Hotel Fellatio

アムステルダムのSpinnin' Recordsからリリースされた、ブラジルの実の双子ユニットDubdogzの「Hotel Fellatio」。下品な曲名通りの猥雑な雰囲気を漂わせる、このベースラインはずっと聴いていられる。いいね。

"Hotel Fellatio" by Dubdogz, a unit of actual twins from Brazil, released on Amsterdam's Spinnin' Records. I can listen to this bassline all the way through, which is just as obscene as the vulgar name of the song. Nice.

8. Rosario Galati - Let Go

イタリア・シチリア島のアーティスト、Rosario Galatiの「Let Go」です。20年前にnaked recordsがリリースしていたセクシーなエレクトロニックハウスに通じるムードを現代的なサウンドで聴かせてくれる。大好き。

Here's "Let Go" by Rosario Galati, an artist from Sicily, Italy, with a modern sound and a mood similar to the sexy electronic house that naked records used to release 20 years ago. I love it.

9. 13-Side – Don't Make Me Wait

米フィラデルフィアの2人組、13-Sideの「Don't Make Me Wait」。磨き上げられた艶めくエレピのリフレインが空間の中で光っては消える。お気に入りです。

"Don't Make Me Wait" by 13-Side, a two-piece from Philadelphia, USA. The polished, glossy electronic piano refrain shines in and out of space. My favorite.

10. Low Steppa & Guy Burns - Lay It On Me

アムステルダムのレーベル・Armada Subjektからリリースされた、英バーミンガムのLow SteppaとGuy Burnsのコラボ曲「Lay It On Me」。キラキラ光るストレート直球ハウス。良いー!

"Lay It On Me" is a collaboration between Low Steppa and Guy Burns from Birmingham, England, released on the Amsterdam label Armada Subjekt. It's a shimmering, straight-ahead house track. Good!

【Track of the Week】Harry Romero feat. Jessica Eve - It Hurts

こうして今週も粒ぞろいの素敵な新築ハウスミュージックの数々に出会うことができましたが、その中でいちばん印象に残ったのがこの「It Hurts」でした。6分59秒の中にドラマティックな展開が次々と起こる、1本の映画のような曲でした。最高です。

"It Hurts" was the most impressive of all the brilliant new-built house music I encountered this week. The track was like a movie, with dramatic twists and turns happening one after another in 6 minutes and 59 seconds. Great.

今週、僕は生まれてはじめて自作PCを組んで、「Microsoft Flight Simulator」も動画編集も軽々とできるようになりました。そこで、僕の新PC・名付けて「Mirro Matter」を使って48分のDJミックスを作りました。ぜひ皆さんにも楽しんでもらえたらと思います。

This week, for the first time in my life, I built my own homebrew PC, which allows me to run "Microsoft Flight Simulator" and edit videos with very very ease. So I made a 48-minute DJ mix using the new PC, named "Mirro Matter." I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.
