みなさんこんにちは。暑さに夏のニュアンスを感じる5月最後の週末を東京で過ごしているハウスミュージックラウンジ「秋葉原住宅」棟梁のSpinnageです。
Hello everyone. I'm Spinnage, the director of the house music lounge Akihabara Housing Ltd., and I'm spending the last weekend of May in Tokyo, where the heat is giving a summer nuance to the city.
さて、今週もいつものように、世界の新築ハウスミュージックを紹介していきます。ここから取り上げるのは、すべて僕が実際にダウンロード購入した曲。真剣勝負で選んだ楽曲たちです。さっそくご紹介していきますよ!
Now, as usual, this week I'm going to introduce you to some new-built house music from around the world. All of the songs I will be featuring here are songs that I actually purchased as downloads. I chose these songs in a serious competition. Let's get started!

1) Art of Tones - Lucky Day (Ian Pooley Remix)
Art of Tonesの「Lucky Day」を、ベルリンの大ベテラン・Ian Pooleyがリミックス。完全に制御された名シンセたちの奏でるサウンドの上質さに惚れ惚れします。
Art of Tones' 'Lucky Day' remixed by Berlin veteran Ian Pooley. You'll fall in love with the quality of the sound played by these perfectly controlled master synths.
2) Magic Number - All I Ever Wanted (Atjazz Remix)
Magic Numberの「All I Ever Wanted」を、ロンドンのディープハウスマイスター・Atjazzがリミックス。シルクのようになめらかなエレピの響きに包まれて、ウォームなシンセベースが跳ねる。最高。
Magic Number's 'All I Ever Wanted' is remixed by London deep house meisters Atjazz. Warm synth bass bounces around a silky smooth elepy sound. Best for.
3) Demarkus Lewis - Livin' For Life
ダラスの鉄人・Demarkus Lewisの「Livin' For Life」。風鈴みたいな涼しげなサウンドが心地良い。
'Livin' For Life' by Dallas iron man Demarkus Lewis. Pleasant cool sound like a wind chime.
4) Fouk - Cobalt
オランダ・ユトレヒトの2人組、Foukの「Cobalt」。優しいタッチのピアノとシンセが軽やかで心地良い。
'Cobalt' by Fouk, a duo from Utrecht, the Netherlands. The gentle touch of piano and synths is light and pleasant.
5) Mallin - Need You Right Now
英・ウルヴァーハンプトンのプロデューサー、Mallinの「Need You Right Now」。流麗なシンセパッドと疾走感のあるシンセベースのマリアージュ。完全に好きなやつでした。
'Need You Right Now' by Wolverhampton, UK producer Mallin. A marriage of flowing synth pads and galloping synth bass. It was totally my favourite one.
6) Ross Couch - Love Is Enough
英・グラスゴーのプロデューサー、Ross Couchの「Love Is Enough」。うっとりするほどメロウなピアノの奏でる旋律が最高です。
'Love Is Enough' by Glasgow, UK producer Ross Couch. The enchantingly mellow piano-driven melody is superb.
7) Spiritchaser - Expansions (Album Mix)
英チチェスターのベテラン2人組、Spiritchaserのアルバムから「Expansions」。彼らの得意とする流麗なシンセのフロウが気持ちいい。
'Expansions' from the album by Chichester, UK veteran duo Spiritchaser. It's a pleasant tune with the fluid synth-flow they're known for.
8) CEV's - Tetramind
フランスのリールでOhmelyaレーベルを率いるCEV'sの「Tetramind」。彼らしいミステリアスなコード進行が印象的なディープハウスです。
'Tetramind' by CEV's, who heads the Ohmelya label in Lille, France. It's an impressive deep house track with his typical mysterious chord progression.
9) Inda Jani, Leandro Di - Keep Going
スペイン・バルセロナのtheBasement Discosレーベルからリリースされた、Inda JaniとLeandro Diの「Keep Going」。M1のオルガンを初めとする音色の数々に90年代ハウスの匂いを感じる、展開のはっきりしたトラックです。
Inda Jani and Leandro Di's 'Keep Going', released on theBasement Discos label in Barcelona, Spain, is a clearly developed track with hints of 90s house in the KOR M1 organ and other sounds.
10) Tuca - Coscmic Vibes
Deep Clicksを率いるDeephopeのDJチャートに入っていた、Tucaの「Cosmic VIbes」。タイトル通りに宇宙を感じるシンセサウンドの重なりにうっとりしました。
Tuca's 'Cosmic VIbes', which was in the DJ charts of Deephope, who lead Deep Clicks. I was entranced by the layering of synth sounds that felt cosmic, just as the title suggests.
【Track of the Week】Art of Tones - Lucky Day (Ian Pooley Remix)
今週のTrack of the Weekにはこの曲を選びました。Ian Pooleyは、インスタグラムに彼がアップしてる写真を見る限り、ソフトシンセサイザーではなく実機のシンセにこだわってるんですよね。ビンテージな機材を使って、こんなにもモダンな音を出してることに感銘を受けます。格好いい！
I chose this song for this week's Track of the Week, and Ian Pooley sticks to actual synths rather than soft synthesizers, as you can see from the photos he posts on Instagram. I'm impressed that he's using vintage equipment to create such a modern sound. Cool!
