Rendezvous

Meet me on the beach at dawn
while the world is still asleep
except you, me, and the birds

There we see the world opening,
revealing itself and all the secrets
as the Sun rises from the horizon

Then, we take a vow in heart,
and carve it on the edge of water 
for the world to be the witness

And we glow, with the Sun
as the vow is being taken away
by waves, as "we" breathe
