いつの間にか仕様が変わった、Windows11のメモ帳

私が仕事でWindowsのExcelやWord,Powerpointやメモ帳などを使い始めた頃、PCがよくハングアップした。
その場合、直前まで入力した情報が消えてしまうので、CtrlキーとSキーをちょくちょく同時に押すのが習慣になった。

今ではマイクロソフトのOffice製品も、Google Spread Sheetも、保存ボタンを押さなくても自動的に保存してくれる。

このnoteもそうだ。

多分その流れに沿ったのだろう、Windows11のメモ帳も自動的に保存してくれるようになった。
それに、タブ型に変わった。
ただ、Windows11のメモ帳も最初は従来のように、閉じる時にその都度保存する仕様だったし、タブも無かった。それが、急に変わったので戸惑った。
マイクロソフトの、突然仕様を変えるという悪い癖は相変わらずだ。

だが、この記事を見つけるまでの間に、新しい仕様に慣れたので、このままでいこうと思っている。

Nowadays, Microsoft Office products and Google Spread Sheet automatically save without you having to press the save button.
Also, it has changed to a tab type.
Perhaps in line with that trend, Windows 11's Notepad now also saves automatically.
However, Windows 11's Notepad initially had a specification where you had to choose whether to save or not each time you closed it, and there were no tabs.
I was confused because that suddenly changed. Microsoft continues to have a bad habit of suddenly changing specifications.

There is a way to return to the traditional Notepad specifications.

However, by the time I found this way, I had gotten used to the new specs, so I plan to stick with it.
