Hello! This is Lemon, one of the Mother's Day Campaign 2024 staff members.
At Single Mothers Sisterhood, we host a campaign where volunteer single mothers form teams to create and present essays, calling for donations to support our initiatives.
The third essay is titled "The Moon, Us, and the Album," written by Marnie, who wrote an essay for the first time.
Marnie, who always speaks softly and gently while looking straight at us, has completed a piece that evokes the impression of delicate descriptions yet makes us feel that mothers are indeed motherly Earth.
Marnie wove each sentence with her own words, persistently crafting the essay until the end. Through her delicateness, we feel the strength of her core.
The Moon, Us, and the Album
Marnie is entering her fifth year of living with her two sons. She delicately depicts the small moments of daily life, whether at the usual park, in the warm futon, or under the watchful gaze of the moonlight, which guards the trio of mother and sons.
Over the past five years, the tiny moments captured by Marnie's lens quietly illuminate the past and the future, woven with the sweetness of this moment and the overflowing love for her sons.
This essay will surely become one page in Marnie's album with her two sons.
