We pray for a speedy recovery for all those affected by the coronavirus. I would also like to express my condolences to those who have passed away. We also send our thanks and cheers to all those who work on the front lines.

We hope that a society divided by the coronavirus will be able to reaffirm the value of each individual's existence and recognize each other again.
　
It's times like these that I thought it was necessary, and I'll be posting a message once a day from our Haute Route ambassadors.

サイクリストの目標とは。

ひとつは、メディアでふと目にした美しい風景を走り、ツールドフランスなどのレースで目にした名だたる峠を走ることでしょう。

私は2018年のオートルート・ヴァントゥサイクリングの後は海外を走れていません。

いま感じることは、日本国内、じぶんのすぐそばに美しい風景や小径があるということ。

コロナ禍のいまは、海外サイクリングに思いを馳せながら身近にある美しい風景を楽しむ心の余裕を持ちたいですね。

オートルートも、今年は3月の中東オマーン開催の後は感染拡大防止、安全管理の観点から軒並み中止となりました。

つい先日、オートルート運営元のOC Sports社は投資家からのサポートを受け、2021年開催に向けて、様々準備を始めています。

オートルートは世界各国のサイクリストの「壮大な目標」であり続けることでしょう。
