Opening Day Thrills: Saga Indonesia Dreams' Journey Begins

Hello from Saga Indonesia Dreams!

We are excited to share the highlights of our season-opening games that took place on April 13th and 14th at Bizeshin Stadium in Takeo City, Saga Prefecture. Although some time has passed since the opening weekend, the memories remain fresh and inspiring.

Our home games are hosted in two locations within Saga Prefecture, Ureshino and Takeo cities, with this season's opener unfolding in Takeo. In addition to the baseball games, the event named "Dream Fest" was held simultaneously, featuring 25 food trucks from inside and outside the prefecture, along with various sports experiences for children, creating a lively atmosphere at the venue.

Children had the opportunity to engage with a diverse array of entertainment, including dynamic dance performances by students from a local dance school, engaging talks by a baseball-themed YouTuber, captivating live music performances by musicians, and powerful Taiko drumming. These activities not only showcased sports but also highlighted cultural diversity, making it an unforgettable experience for the audience.

Over the two days, more than 5,000 spectators attended, making our games among the most attended in the Kyushu Asia League. Our first opponent was the Miyazaki Sunshines. Unfortunately, we faced a tough loss on the first day with a score of 17-0. However, the second day started off strong as we scored our team's first points early in the game, taking a 4-0 lead. This initial success gave our team a boost, but we were eventually overtaken and lost the match 7-9.

Despite the defeats, scoring in the opening game was a significant confidence booster for our team. It has reinforced our belief that achieving our first victory in the upcoming games is not just a distant dream but a realistic goal. We will continue to practice diligently and strive for further growth to bring joy to our fans.
