コロナ禍中のマレーシア・サバ州渡航　　＊スーパーニッチな記事です。

2月6日(日)、9ヶ月の入国申請を経て、
現在はマレーシア・コタキナバルにて7日間の隔離中です。(カバー写真は、隔離中のホテルから撮りました📷)

長期滞在ビザが無い状態で入国を試みたため、入国許可を得るの9ヶ月もかかりました...(入国目的は、サバ州にいる婚約者と結婚をするため)

しかもサバ州というマレーシアの中でも特殊な州への渡航ということもあり、とにかく情報を集めるのに苦労をしました汗
(僕自身はこのフェイスブックグループから情報を仕入れていました)

僕と同じように、長期滞在ビザを持たずサバ州に渡航する方の助けになれればと思い渡航記を綴れればと思います。

【My Experience traveling to Sabah】
Hi all!
I finally arrived at KK after 2 years and am currently in a hotel quarantine for 7 days.
Hope my experience helps some members planning to come to Sabah:)

・Final Destination: Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

・Trip: NRT(Tokyo)→KL→Kota Kinabalu(Sabah)
・Trip Schedule: NRT(10:20am, 4th.Feb)→KLIA(5:30pm, 4th.Feb)→KKIA(0:30am, 4th.Feb)

①About Applying /Receiving MTP
Applied: on 13th, Jan(14th attempts)
Approved: on 26th, Jan

-Fiancee’s Passport, IC
-Vaccination Cert(2nd dose)
-JPN’s appointment issued by JPN　＊you can take it online
-LTVSP’s appointoment issued by Immigration　＊you can take it online
-Fiancee’s Single Cert＊Advised to attatch by immigration officer
-My single Cert
-My birth Cert
-Stamp page on passport(proof of the past travel)
-Couple photos (proof of the relationship)

②About Preparation before Departure
Here’s what I did after receiving MTP approval▽
-Download MTP
-Pre-reserve PCR test at KL on MySafeTravel https://safetravel.myeg.com.my/
└You can pay also at the KLIA’s PCR counter
-PCR test before the departure
-Download MySejahtera
-Import vaccination certificate into Mysejahtera app ＊Not sure if it’s necessary… but I did it to apply for Sabah Entry Approval
-Book flight tickets(Malaysia airline)
└You better have 4-5 hrs for transfer
└different under booking number cuz it’s cheap
└They arrange your luggage to the final destination even though it’s under the different booking number but the same airline. You need to request it at the departure counter.
-Print all documents(MTP, Sabah Entry Approval, Vaccination Cert, the latest Sabah’s SOP just case officers at KLIA get confused about Sabah’s SOP)
-☆Apply/receive Sabah Entry Approval　＊Required by SABAH gov

└I even asked my fiancee to visit Immigration office at KK to ask officers to approve my application
-☆Submit eHDF https://sm.jknsabah.gov.my/HDF/risk.php... by 12h before entering Sabah　＊Required by SABAH gov
└Please keep screenshot of your application number
＊I didn’t book quarantine hotel before depature, but I did at KKIA.
I checked Sabah CPRC and MySafeTravel just in case and they said it’s possible.
Please note that sometimes airline’s staff or even CPRC's staff don’t fully know the SOPs. They told me that I need to do quarantine at KL as I asked them.
　
③About Experience at the airport of departure
-You need to shoe airline’s staff vaccination cert, the results of PCR, MTP, Sabah Entry Approval*
-I strongly suggest you arrive at the airport of departure a little early if you are planning to fly to Sabah/Sarawak since they have different SOPs and sometimes Airline’s staff don’t really know the details.
-Tell airline’s staff to arrange your luggage to your final destination if you use the same airlines.
　
④About Experience at KLIA(Kuala Lumpur International Airport)
Here’s what I did▽
-I went to the information counter to ask ”where I should go next as I’m flying to KK today”
└Nobody doesn’t guide you, so you need to get helps all by yourself
-I went to PCR test section(near immigration counter)　＊You receive the results after few days
-I was guided to immigration table(before the immigration counter to guide you guys)
└You need to tell them you are going to KK and do quarantine at KK
-I was guided to Immigration office on the same floor, same section
-I gave Immigration officer my documents and tell that I’m flying to KK and do quarantine at KK
└In my case, the officer is at door
-I waited for about an hour till the other immigration officer in the immigration office called me
-The officer asked me the purpose of entry(marriage in my case)and to show MTP, Sabah Entry Approval, Flight tickets
-The officer gave me stamp and let me go to the immigration counter
└The officer kept my MTP
-I went to domestic departure
　
⑤About Experience at KKIA(Kota Kinabalu International Airport)
-You need to see KKM’s staff upon arrival before immigration
-KKM’s staff ask you to show your Sabah Entry Approval, eHDF
-KKM’s staff arrange your hotel/home quarantine and transportation
└They are so nice!
└You have some options for where to stay(Capital Hotel in my case)
