We will organize a luncheon session at CINP2024 on May 24th supported by the World Women in Neuroscience (WWN) as well as the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO). It is an onsite session, and lunch boxes will be served.

Session Description:
In the ever-evolving realm of scientific inquiry, female researchers frequently navigate a terrain rife with distinctive challenges and prospects at divergent junctures of their professional journey. The session titled "Empowering Women in Science: Navigating Career Stages and Leadership," specifically tailored for CINP 2024 is sponsored by World Women in Neuroscience (WWN) and the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO. The organizers aim to shed light on pivotal insights, fortify strategic thinking, and kindle inspiration across the spectrum of career phases for women in neuroscience, neurology and psychiatry. Following three 10 minutes presentations, the session will also include informal break out groups to address several crucial subjects such as the trajectory of career advancement, equilibrium between professional and personal life, surmounting obstacles rooted in gender bias, and the cultivation of leadership acumen. This program is meticulously crafted to cultivate a nurturing milieu that encourages female researchers to procure instrumental mentorship, forge meaningful connections within their peer network, and ultimately, thrive in their chosen scientific domains.
