Tsunagu

I recently read the novel ‘Tsunagu’ by Mizuki Tsujimura. Her sensitive portrayal of each character resonated deeply with me, evoking a warm, fuzzy feeling despite having no similar experiences.

The narrative, focusing on two mothers who lost their daughter, struck a chord with me as a parent myself. It prompted profound contemplation about the unimaginable prospect of losing my own son.

Lately, the books I’ve been reading have sparked contemplation about life and death. I’m fully aware that merely reading about these topics differs vastly from experiencing them in real life. Nonetheless, I recognize the immense importance of engaging with these themes and thoroughly reflecting upon them.
