sane-having a healthy mind and not mentally ill:
In the doctor's opinion he was sane at the time of the murder.

bane-something that is particularly effective in causing you trouble or worry:
Instead of doing his homework, my son is always playing computer games they’re the bane of my existence these days.

mane-the long, thick hair that grows along the top of a horse's neck or around the face and neck of a lion.

I know only "rain", but I was not able to pronounce it.  So I learned the other three words, which my tutor provided for pronounce practice.
