土心和 志和From our Eyes

On the 13th of November, the participants of the BOOST UP project had their last day of Shiwa exploration. The day started by reuniting at JICA to have a rehearsal of the presentation and support each other. Then, all participants headed to Shiwa elementary school by JICA bus. The target of the participation on that day was to share their experience by enriching everyone's awareness of satoyama Shiwa's nature, kind hearts, and peaceful minds. The participants arrived at Shiwa's local primary school around 11:00 one hour before their presentation starts. It was a delightful time to explore the area and see the whole attendants, the local tents, and their activities at the beginning so they can engage with the vibrant atmosphere of the event and enjoy it. After the presentation, the participants were offered to eat Japanese noodles cooked by the local grannies at the event. Meanwhile sitting by the small local market to enjoy the cheerful scene of people enjoying the event. In the end, participants returned back to JICA to reflect on the event. Besides, sharing the overall evaluation of participation experience in that program.
