Rarejob Trial Lesson No.1

Yesterday, I took a first rarejob.com trial lesson. My tutor's name was Mr.Ansab. He looks maybe about 40 years old or so. Before the lesson, I was nervous because I've not had oppoutunities to talk to foreign people. Of course I've not met Philipino at all so far. But he was kind and friendly to me, so I soon could accustomed to his lesson.

I was so fazed that I couldn't even express some sentences that I could read pretty easily. Probably, myself of junior high school days can read that. It's pretty obvious that it reminded me of the importance of reading aloud by myself. If I want to be able to speak english fluently, I have to try to speak english with someone everyday.

In the lesson, he gave me a material that suits my english learning level. After memorizing the conversation while imagining the situation that I'm in, I'm going to take my second trial lesson. It is so sad that I have to notice that I'm not good at english speaking, but I will do my utmost today too.

昨日、レアジョブの体験レッスンを受けました。チューターは、アンサブさんという方でした。たぶん、40歳かそこらだったかと思います。レッスンの前はすごく緊張しました、というのもこれまで海外の人と話す機会はなかったからです。言うまでもなく、フィリピン人の方にあったことなどありませんでした。だけど、すごく親切でフレンドリーな人だったので、すぐにレッスンの空気にも慣れました。

で、すごく簡単に読めるような文章でさえも話すことができない事実にショックを受けました。たぶん、中学時代の自分でも余裕で読めるような難易度だと思います。当たり前のことですが、自分自身で口に出して練習することが必須だって思い出させてくれたと思います。スラスラ英語を話せるようになりたかったら、誰かと毎日英語で会話する努力をしないといけない、みたいなことです。

レッスンの中で、先生は自分のレベルにあった教材を提供してくれました。復習するなかで自分の置かれたシチュエーションをイメージしつつ、会話を記憶したら、残りのトライアルレッスンを受けるつもりです。自分の英語のレベルが大したものではないという事実を突きつけられるのは辛いことですが、今日も頑張りたいと思います。
