Anime(アニメ) in Hungary🇭🇺
Anime is already part of the Japanese culture, so I thought I write about the anime events and its availabilites in Hungary. I have already seen anime for 8 years. So far to make animes to have dub didn't happen a lot of improve. Since I know what is anime I only can say 3 anime got Hungarian dub. (YU-Gi-Oh five Dragons (only 46 epsides got dub), Dragon Ball Super, Boku no hero Academia( only the first 3 season got dub).
I found a webpage which shows how many anime got Hungarian dub. That number is 68. It contains anime movies series which didn't finish. These animes are mostly from 1980-2010 time. In the TV you could watch anime on the Anime+ after that chanel was closed it changed to Animax. Animax and Anime+ is was radiated from 20:00 to 2:00 after the programs of the Minimax. A+ was in the TV from 4th of december 2004 until 2nd of July 2007. After that it was changed to animax which I had watched. It radiated for 7 years. Interesting thing. It was ceased on 1st of April 2014 on April's fool day. It was a bad joke.
When I was child I always watched animax. I Liked Bleach, Naruto, Soul Eater. I liked Soul Eater so much in that time, because it has an unique design. Since then not a lot of anime got Hungarian dub, but since when the One Piece Movie Red was showed in the Hungarian's cinemas. Since then the cinemas noticed that people want to see animes in cinema. Since than some anime was showed in the cinemas(KNY movie to the hashira training, spy x family movie and haikyuu movie). All movies was showed with Hungarian sub.
There are some anime events in Hungary. The biggest is the Mondocon which is hold every year 4 times. There is one during winter, one during spring, one during summer and one during autumn. Th e biggest Mondocon is always the summer Mondocon. I was several times in that event. I was twice on the winter Mondocon and 3 times on the summer Mondocon. Mondocon is last for 2 days except the winter because that only 1 day. During that days there are a lot of cosplayer, anime quiz, lectures, game competitions, AMV competition and guests. This event is always in Budapest the capital City of Hungary at the Hungexpo.
SzolnoCon is the other big anime event in the country. It is always hold in Szolnok. I never visited that event, because it is on the other of the country. SzolnoCon is a 1 day long event. The same programs are here than in Mondocon.
Once I was on Natsucon, but that was organized only once and since than I didn't hear about this evenet more. It was organized in Szombathely. It was not as big as a Mondocon where are around 1000 or more people. There was around 30-40 people, so it wasn't the biggest anime event. I met first time there with László Lippai, who was Son Goku's Hungarian's voice, who unfortunatelly died since then.
Another event which isn't connect to the Anime events, but we can say it maybe connect to it. That's the Japan day. Japan day is an event in Szombathely on 5th of october this year. The event connects to the Japan's culture. I saw there Judo performance, Bonsais, katanas, Japanese games(not computer the traditional games before computer was invented),kimonos and etc. There were vendors where you can buy anime things like what you could buy at a Mondocon.
Thank you for reading so far.
