[地球一周14日目]ツアー　tour

今日は朝からツアーに参加してきました。8時から19時までの1日間。ウィンザー城、ストーンヘンジ、オックスフォードへ。
ウィンザー城は今でも週末はエリザベス女王が過ごしている場所です。オックスフォードの建物や聖ポール大聖堂と雰囲気は似ていて、厳かで均整がとれている建物。とても広く、王室コレクションの絵画、寝室などの調度品やドールハウス、時間によっては衛兵のパレードのようなものも見れます。
今年はエリザベス女王のプラチナジュビリーで即位70周年（ジュビリーとは君主の生涯とその治世を祝う祭典のこと）。関連のブローチやローブ、ドレスなども展示されていました。
お城の外から見たウィンザーグレートパークの、両サイドに芝が続く約4kmにわたる道は圧巻でした。何だかいるだけで畏れ多いなぁという感じで、緊張する感じ。
ストーンヘンジは天気に恵まれ、涼しい風が吹いていました。外側から見ましたが、思ったよりも大きい。高さ2m、幅1mぐらいあるようです。カラスもしくはレイヴンがいましたね。

オックスフォードでは世界一クラスの大きさの本屋さんへ行ってきました。歴史とそして地元の人たちに愛されてる、風が通りぬけるお店でした。
ウィンザー城でのこと、「ではここで解散するので自分でバスまで戻ってね」と言われたが、グレートパークへ行ったはいいものの、そこから迷った・・・。あと5分で集合時間なのに、どうする。立ち並ぶお店の人々に聞いて、なんとか汗だくでたどり着いた。スタートの場所を把握しないといけないのだと、わかった1日でした。

I've been on the tour since morning today. One day from 8:00 to 19:00. To Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Oxford. Windsor Castle is still the place where Queen Elizabeth spends her weekends. The atmosphere is similar to the Oxford building and St. Paul's Cathedral, and it is a solemn and well-proportioned building. Very large, you can see paintings from the Royal Collection, furniture such as bedrooms, dollhouses and, depending on the time, a parade of guards. This year is the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee (Jubilee is a celebration of the life and reign of the monarch). Related brooches, robes and dresses were also on display. Seen from the outside of the castle, Windsor Great Park's approximately 4km road with grass on both sides was a sight to behold. I feel nervous just because I'm afraid of something.

Stonehenge was blessed with good weather and a cool breeze. Seen from the outside, it's bigger than I expected. It seems to be about 2m high and 1m wide. There was a crow or a raven. In Oxford, I went to one of the largest bookstores in the world. It was a shop where the wind passed, which was loved by the history and the locals. At Windsor Castle, I was told, "Then I'm going to break up here, so go back to the bus yourself." It's okay to go to Great Park, but I got lost from there ... What should I do when the meeting time is 5 minutes left? After asking the people in the shops, I managed to get sweaty. It was a day when I realized that I had to figure out where to start.
