[地球一周26日目]アニマルキングダム Animal kingdom
オーランド空港からホテルまではミアーズコネクトというバスを予約。事前に出発時間とQRコードが送られてきて、運転手さんも親切でした。
WDWアニマルキングダムへ。以前来た時にはなかったアバターのアトラクションが目当て。
待ち時間2時間だったはずが3時間半。待ち時間伸びますのアナウンスにみんな「ブー」と不機嫌気味。うわーさすが、ディズニー。待つために来る場所ですね。それぞれの待ちかたがあり、アメリカ人は「まだ待つの・・・」という感じだったり、スペイン人は笑い話を繰り広げて、マッサージしあったり。スマホを1人が頭にかかげて、グループで名前当てゲームしてる姿もたまに見かけます。
ただ、乗った「アバター・フライト・オブ・パッセージ」はここまで待つ価値はあったなと。目の前は縦5m×横10m ぐらいの全面がスクリーン。3Dメガネをかけ、その場だけで動くバイクにまたがり、アバターの住む世界を自分自身もアバターになって飛んでる感覚になれるアトラクション。
本当に浮遊してる感じがバイク（水がとんだり風も吹く）＋スクリーンで体感できて、何十メートルもある木の間を通り抜けたり、サイの群れの上すれすれを飛んだり、波のトンネルをくぐり抜けたり。遠くまで飛んで行けるような感じがしました。こじんまりした空間で今や体感型のジェットコースターができるんだなとかなりの驚き。
アバターのお店ではレジ店員さん2名の少なさに驚きが。めっちゃ並んでる笑
ライオンキングのショーで思いましたが、恐らく機械で動いているキャラクターたちの動きがとてもなめらか・・・。
そしてアメリカは写真映えする、迫力のある演出がとても上手いと感じます。ただ、現地で見ると意外と私は写真の感動の方が強かったり。
この点は細かい装飾や演出にこだわる日本のディズニーの良さを感じます。今回WDWは50周年。日本では周年祭の時はそれを、園内全体に装飾を施したりと表現しますが、アニマルキングダムでは柱に50周年と幕がかかげられてたり、スポットに金のキャラクター像が置かれてるような感じ。

待つことで 色々観れる 楽しさも

Everyone was in a bad mood with the announcement that the waiting time would be extended. Wow, Disney. It's a place to come to wait. There are different ways to wait, the Americans feel like "I'm still waiting ...", and the Spaniards laugh and massage each other. Occasionally, I see one person holding a smartphone in someone's head and playing a name guessing game in a group.
However, the "Avatar Flight of Passage" I got on was worth the wait so far.
In front of you, the entire screen is about 5m long x 10m wide. An attraction where you can wear 3D glasses, straddle a motorcycle that moves only on the spot, and feel like you are flying in the world where your avatar lives. You can feel really floating on your bike (water blows and wind blows) + screen, passing through tens of meters of trees, flying over a flock of rhinos, and going through a tunnel of waves. I felt like I could fly far. I was quite surprised that a roller coaster can now be experienced in a small space. As I thought at the Lion King show, the movements of the characters moving by machines are probably very smooth.
And I feel that the United States is very good at producing powerful photographs that look good in photographs. However, when I saw it locally, I was more impressed with the photos. At the Avatar store, I was surprised at the small number of two cashiers. It's really lined up lol
In this respect, I feel the goodness of Disney in Japan, which is particular about detailed decoration and production. This time WDW is the 50th anniversary. In Japan, at the time of the anniversary festival, it is expressed as decorating the entire garden, but in Animal Kingdom, the curtain is hung on the pillar as the 50th anniversary, and the gold character image is placed in the spot.
