マスクを外す時

えっ？最近リアルであった人がたまたまマスクをはずした。今まで何度かあっていたのだが、マスクなしの顔を見るのは初めてだ。想像していた姿とちょっと違っていた。顔の印象が変わると、勝手にイメージを崩された気持ちになり、実は性格も違うのかなと思えてきてしまう。逆にオンラインで会うと、マスクをはずした姿がデフォルトである。そうするとリアルであっても、イメージがずれることが少ない。必ずしもリアルの方がコミュニケーションが円滑ということもないかもしれないな。（絵と文：サカキテツ朗）
Ah? A person who was real recently happened to take off his mask. I've met several times before, but this is the first time I've seen a face without a mask. It was a little different from what I had imagined. When the impression of the face changes, it makes me feel that my image has been destroyed, and I wonder if his personality is actually different. On the other hand, when I meet online, the default is to remove the mask. Then, even if it is real, the image is less likely to change.
