2006 - 2015

I started my career as a translator in 2006. I applied for registration with various translation agencies but kept getting rejected. But after about a year, an agency offered me a job.

Excited to finally have an opportunity, I worked hard and did my best to translate. The agency seemed to think my translation was not bad and offered me another job. So it started. For the next 8 or 9 years, I worked on various localization projects via this translation agency. It was the era of PS3/Xbox 360. Sometimes I was asked to translate the entire text, sometimes a part of it.

Fortunately, the agency kept giving me projects. Once I finished one project, they immediately gave me the next one. It was not intended but during this time, this agency was my sole client.

Unfortunately, I cannot mention the names of the games that I worked on during this era due to their NDA policy. That said, I'm still very grateful for what they let me do. During these 8 or 9 years, I did translations, reviews, dubs, attending voice recording, etc., and could established a good skill base to handle various situations on localization.
