(BBC) Yes/no and Wh-questions

Be動詞から始まる or 助動詞から始まる疑問文の時は、Yes, No で回答することができるが、Wh-question なるものはYes, No での回答はできない。

Yes, No Questions

Wh-questions

for example )
who, what, where, when, why, or how.

① Who are you? / I'm Rukang, I'm a student.
② What time do you start studying? / I usually start at 9 am.
③ Where do you live? / I live in Japan.
④ When is your birthday? / My birthday is Apri.
⑤ Why do you study English? / I like another country languishes.
⑥ How old are you? / I'm 30.

さまざまな種類の情報が欲しい時にWh-questionを使うので「Yes, No」だけでは答えきれない。
