現地3月3日、Jack Reinhart(@JackJReinhart)がSNS上で公開した、2023年度のEPA/Rush とキャップヒットの比較によれば、Josh Jacobsは、EPA/Rushで-0.2未満、キャップヒット約$12Mでリーグの主要RBの中で最もコストパフォーマンスが悪い位置にある。
現地3月7日、Arjun Menon (@arjunmenon100)がSNS上で公開した、2023年度のRBのパフォーマンス調査資料によれば、Jacobsは、ゾーンラッシュでリーグ57位、ギャップラッシュで18位、ギャッププルラッシュで61位だった。なお、同調査では、2024年度FA市場におけるJacobsの予想APYを$11M(FARB2位)としている。
