トルコ大統領のユニークなインフレ対策

トルコのエルドアン大統領が統計局のトップを解任した。インフレ率の公表値が高過ぎると不満らしい。

Erdogan meanwhile reportedly criticised the statistics agency in private for publishing data that he felt overstated the scale of Turkey's economic malaise.

エルドアン大統領が強引なのは、インフレと通貨安対策には低金利政策が有効との信念を持っているためである。

これはエルドアン大統領のオリジナルではなく、現代貨幣理論（MMT）の教えるところでもある。事実、教祖の一人のモズラーはトルコにゼロ金利政策を提案していた。
