This story is a homage to Ultra Seven, Tsuburaya and dedicated to the Youth.

#14 go west: 1st

The Youth has come to be called by other names, sometimes referred to as Paranormal Phenomena Investigation Team or Ultra Security Guard.

prologue

The hot topic these day is that HAYATO, a Japanese space probe succeeded in a sample return from TSUNOKAWA for the first time in human history.

TSUNOKWA is an asteroid in the solar system.  At the very time that it was discovered, HAYATO was being developed.

HAYATO, after launched, got on the orbit around the sun, then accelerated.  It made scientific observations, dived itself, touched the asteroid, and tried a sample collection of its surface.

HAYATO was planned to parachute the sample capsule with the operation of atmospheric entry. 

However, a problem caused a serious trouble.  The sample capsule was detached, parachuted down on the desert in the south of Australia, and collcted.  But HAYATO burned itself out with a long and white tail.

The sample HAYATO brought back from TSUNOKAWA was named 'TSUNOSAN R18.'

Over the last few months, there have frequently occurred incidents of INVADE all over the Earth.
Therefore, the world has to take some measures and needs an organization to take the lead of defense.

As a pioneer, the global meeting is going to be held in K University, Kyoto, Japan.  The host country is Japan, and the chair is, as a mattes of course, Professor KIRIYA, T University.

At the same time, the same place, TSUNOKAWA capsule and R18 are exhibited, open to the public.
And the members of the Youth, Ultra Security Guard, goes west.

AMABE: "The government calls us Ultra Security Guard.  It doesn't sound right."
SOMA: "Let them call as they like.  Fruit rather than name."
YURI: "No matter by what name they call us, the Youth is the Youth for us."
FURUDA: "By the way, my peer was following a suspect, and just because he kind of peeked into an irrelevant house, he was reported…"

MOROBOSHI is driving a yellow car westward, listening to them.
(TSUNOKAWA.  It is a name they named the planet PEDAN as they like.  What are aliens PEDAN thinking about humans' bringing back its sample and peeking imto their home.)

As DAN expects, the aliens have just regarded the humans as invaders and come to the Earth to get back at the planet.  When the Youth members arrive in Kyoto, some foreign attendees who are going to attend the meeting have been injured, attacked by a MYSTERIOUS robot.  If it goes on like this, the meeting will be canceled.  All the guests are obliged to escape into secret rooms for VIPs.

Suddenly, alien PEDAN appears on the large screen set up in the meeting place.
❛THE PEDAN GOVERNMENT REGARDS the earth humans AS INVADERS AND DECLARES WAR the e earth.❜
KIRIYA: "That space probe doesn't mean it, but just an observation machine.  If it causes trouble, I will apologize to you on behalf of humans for bothering you.  Please forgive us."
❛WE DO NEVER WANT TO HEAR ANY EXCUSE.❜
The alien disappears.
"It's a catastrophe, isn't it?"

The dead of night. on the stage in Kiyomizu-dera temple stands MOROBOSHI with red glasses, sending telepathy to the PEDAN.  It is not long before four floating white cubes with sides of 50 centimeters appear out of nowhere, and they begins going around him slowly like a merry-go-round, with their one top directed to him.

"Thank you very much for coming."
❛WHY ARE YOU ON humans' SIDE?  YOU ARE ALSO AN ALIEN, AREN'T YOU?❜
"What Professor KIRIYA says to you is true."
❛OBSERVATION?  WE DO NOT BELIEVE.  WHAT DO they OBSERVE US FOR?  TO INVADE US.❜
"No, never, nothing.  They really hope the peace of the whole universe."
❛YOU ONLY THINK SO, SEVEN.  IF YOU STANDS IN OUR WAY, KING JOE WILL KILL YOU.❜

One cube divides to form two legs.
The next cube gets on the legs to form a torso.
The third cube also devides to form two arms.
The last transforms into a head and shoulders.
Less than one second makes a simple white robot as a MINE CRAFT character.

The movement of KING JOE is simple yet quick, repeating thrusts alternately at DAN.  DAN barely dodges them, fighting back, but neither EYE SLUGGER nor ULTRA BEAM makes any effect.
(Damn!  Too quick.)
When DAN tries to teleport, one thrust flicks his red glasses off.  Moment, countless numbers of thrusts hit all over his body, which falls down to the ground.  Moreover, the robot straddles him, going on attacking endlessly.
(All over now…  )
Consciousness fading, MOROBOSHI remembers her smile.
