   大学にて研究室配属された同期のみんなはキャンパス移動で引っ越していき、留年した僕だけがここに取り残されている。そんな時にも寄り添ってくれるのがオキーフというシンガーソングライターだ。

   good time Charlieというのは楽天家、遊び人みたいな意味らしい。オキーフは、みんな出ていってしまった町で1人時間を浪費し続ける不安や焦燥感をゆったり歌い上げる。これをついつい自分の状況に重ねていい気分になってしまう。

    このような勝手な自己投影は愚かな行為と感じるが、まぁ人が歌を求める理由のひとつでもあると思っていいとする。
