日本の電力市場を分析しよう

2016年4月に小売り全面自由化となってから７年以上が経過した。
従前より各エリアで独占的に事業を行ってきた旧一般電気事業者から、新規に参入してきた電力会社（新電力）へと電気の契約を切り替える”スイッチング”も、当たり前に行われる世の中になり、あらゆる業界の会社が日本の小売り電気事業に続々と参入してきた。

近年は東京証券取引所（TOCOM）にて電力先物市場が開設されたり、EEX（European Energy Exchange、欧州を中心に展開するエネルギー取引所)でも日本の卸電力価格（JEPXの東京エリアプライスと関西エリアプライス）を対象（原資産）とした電力先物商品が扱われるようになって、現在、日本の電力市場は海外プレーヤーの注目が集まる市場となっている。

しかし、海外プレーヤーが日本の電力市場に参入するために、電力市場の分析をしようとした時に、重大な課題が指摘されている。

それは、電力市場を分析するためのデータがあまり公開されていないこと。あるいは、公開されているものがあっても、ホームページ上のリンクが非常にわかりにくいということである。

そこで、「電力市場を分析したいけど、ホームページ上のどこにデータがあるのかわからない！」と困っている海外プレーヤー向けに、日本の電力市場データについて、どんなデータが公開されているのか、どこを見ればそれらのデータを取得できるのかを紹介していきたいと考えている。

まずは日々の電力需要の想定と実績が公開されている「でんき予報」というホームページについての解説から始める予定である。

更新ペースは遅くなると思うが、お付き合いいただければ幸いである。

Let's analyze Japanese electricity power market!

More than seven years have passed since the full liberalization of retail electricity market in April 2016.
Former generaral electricity utilities had been operating exclusively in each area so far.
Many people have normally switched from former general electricity utilities to new other retail companies.
And therefore so many companies from all industries have entered Japanese retail business one after another.

However, in case foreign players attempt to analyze Japanese electricity power market in order to enter the market, serious problem has been pointed out.
That is not so much data of Japanese power market has been made pubric. Or even with publicly available data, the links on the website are very confusing.

I guess that some foreign player want to analyze the japanese market, but they are having trouble finding out where the data is on the website. 
That's why I will introduce what data is available on the website and how you can acquire these data.

First of all, I'm planning to start with a commentary on hte website "Denki Yoho", which publishes forecast and result of daily electricity demand. 

I think the update pace will be slow, but if you don't mind, I'd appriciate it.
