［東京　２０日　ロイター］ - 経団連の十倉雅和会長（住友化学会長）は２０日の会見で、米銀行破綻をきっかけに高まる金融不安について「（各国当局の）速やかな対応で危機は連鎖しない」との見方を示した。インフレ抑制の動きの方が「心配」だとし、金利上昇による景気への影響を懸念した。

十倉会長は、スイスの金融大手クレディ・スイスの救済買収を受けて、日米欧の６中央銀行が米ドルの資金供給を強化すると発表するなど連係して措置を講じていることを挙げ、日本に限っても、実体経済への影響はないとした。

一方で、米国のインフレについては懸念を示し、米国の実態経済が相当強い中で、米連邦準備理事会（ＦＲＢ）は「インフレ抑制の動きを止めるわけにはいかない」と指摘。利上げペースについては見直しがあるかもしれないとしたが、インフレ抑制の動きは続くとの見方を示した。

労働組合の中央組織「連合」は今年の春闘の賃上げ率が初回集計で平均３．８％だったことについては、「非常に力強い数値で勇気づけられた」とし、賃金と物価の好循環の起点の年にしたいとしてきたが、期待に沿った回答がなされたと述べた。

［Tokyo, 20 March (Reuters) - At a press conference on 20 March, Masakazu Tokura, chairman of the Keidanren (Japan Business Federation) and chairman of Sumitomo Chemical, expressed his view that "the crisis will not chain with prompt action (by national authorities)" on the growing financial instability triggered by the collapse of the US banks. He said that moves to curb inflation were more 'worrying' and expressed concern about the impact of higher interest rates on the economy.

Citing the fact that six central banks in Japan, the US, Europe and Japan are taking measures in tandem, such as announcing that they will strengthen the supply of US dollar funds following the bailout takeover of Swiss financial giant Credit Suisse, Chairman Tokura said that even in Japan, there would be no impact on the real economy.

On the other hand, he expressed concern about inflation in the US, pointing out that the US Federal Reserve Board (FRB) "cannot stop moving to curb inflation" while the real economy in the US is quite strong. He said there may be a review of the pace of interest rate hikes, but indicated that the move to curb inflation will continue.

The central trade union organisation RENGO said it was "encouraged by the very strong figures" for the average wage increase of 3.8% in the first round of this year's Spring Struggle, and stated that the response was in line with its expectations, which had been to make this the starting year for a virtuous cycle between wages and prices.
