(1 Samuel 17:47) And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD'S, and he will give you into our hands.
(1サムエル17:47) そして、この集会は皆、主が剣や槍で救われるのではないことを知るであろう：戦いは主のものであり、主はあなたたちを私たちの手に渡されるのだから。

The Bible records that there came a time when the Philistines gathered their armies together to battle, and were gathered at Sochoh, which belongs to Judah. At that time, King Saul and his men also gathered and encamped in the Valley of Elah and drew up in battle array against the Philistines.　
聖書には、ペリシテ人が戦いのために軍を集め、ユダに属するソチョーに集結したときがあったと記されている。そのとき、サウル王とその部下もエラの谷に集まって宿営し、ペリシテ人に向かって戦列を整えた。

The Philistines stood on a mountain on one side, and Israel stood on a mountain on the other side, with a valley between them.　
ペリシテ人は一方の山に立ち、イスラエルは他方の山に立ち、その間に谷があった。

A champion named Goliath came from amongst the Philistines and threw a challenge to the Israelites. He said, “Why have you come out to line up for battle? Am I, not a Philistine, and you the servants of Saul?　
ペリシテ人の中からゴリアテという王者が出てきて、イスラエル人に挑戦状を叩きつけた。彼は言った。「なぜ、戦いのために整列して出てきたのですか。私はペリシテ人、あなた方はサウルの手下ではないか。

Choose a man for yourselves, and let him come down to me. If he is able to fight with me and kill me, then we will be your servants. But if I prevail against him and kill him, then you shall be our servants and serve us.”　
自分たちのために一人の男を選び、私のもとに下りてこさせなさい。もし彼が私と戦い、私を殺すことができるならば、私たちはあなた方のしもべとなる。しかし、もし私が彼に勝って彼を殺すなら、あなたがたは私たちのしもべとなって、私たちに仕えることになる」。

At that moment, Saul and his men feared but at the same time, God had prepared a savior in the person of David.　
その時、サウルとその部下たちは恐れましたが、同時に神はダビデという救い主を用意されていたのです。

David, being full of the power of God, challenged Goliath with these words, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin.　
ダビデは、神の力に満ち溢れ、ゴリアテにこう挑んだ。

But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied (1 Samuel 17:1-50).　
しかし、私は、あなたが逆らったイスラエルの軍隊の神、万軍の主の名によって、あなたのもとに来たのです」（1サムエル17:1-50）

Long story short, David killed Goliath with a stone. The stone entered the skull of Goliath and dismantled him.　
長い話ですが、ダビデは石でゴリアテを殺しました。石はゴリアテの頭蓋骨に入り、彼を解体したのです。

Today, as you pray, God will strike anyone who has assumed the position of Goliath in your life dead for the battle is the Lord's. Hallelujah!　
今日、あなたが祈るとき、神はあなたの人生においてゴリアテのような立場をとった者を、戦いは主のものであるとして、死に追いやるでしょう。ハレルヤ！

Confession: The battle is the Lord’s and today all the hosts of heaven shall back me and fight for me. See, my enemies, are utterly destroyed today by the mighty power of God. The stone of God has destroyed them completely.　
告白します： 戦いは主のものです。今日、天のすべての軍勢が私を支え、私のために戦ってくれます。ほら、私の敵は、今日、神の強大な力によって完全に破壊された。神の石が彼らを完全に滅ぼしたのだ。

Say this if you have never been born again. I declare from today that Jesus Christ is my Lord and I believe that God raised Him from the dead.　
もし、あなたが一度も生まれ変わったことがないのなら、こう言いなさい。私は今日から、イエス・キリストが私の主であり、神が彼を死者の中からよみがえらせたことを信じると宣言します。
