GLORIOUS WORD DEVOTIONAL Day164 　JESUS CHRIST IS THE EVERLASTING FATHER イエス・キリストは永遠の父である。

(Isaiah 9:6) For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder; And His name will be called; Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.ひとりのみどりごがわれわれのために生れた、ひとりの男の子がわれわれに与えられた。まつりごとはその肩にあり、その名は、「霊妙なる議士、大能の神、とこしえの父、平和の君」ととなえられる。(イザヤ記９：６）

Yesterday, we established the fact that Jesus Christ is God in human form (Matthew 16:16). 

昨日は、イエス・キリストが人間の姿をした神であるという事実を確認しました（マタイ16：16）。

We said He is the One who proceeded from the Father. 

私たちは、彼が父から続いてきた方だと言いました。

We also said He shares the same character trait or features with the Father.

また、父と同じ特徴を持っているとも言いました。

 This is the reason why Prophet Isaiah, called Him the Everlasting Father in our theme scripture.

 これは、預言者イザヤがテーマの聖句で「永遠の父」と呼んだ理由です。

 I am sure now you can understand why He told Philip that He is in the Father and the Father is in Him.

 これで、フィリップが「自分は父の中にいて、父は自分の中にいる」と言った理由がわかると思います。

 And once you see Him, you have seen the Father. 

 そして、あなたが彼を見たら、あなたは父を見たことになります。 

Let’s read his dialogue with Philip in John 14:7-9, “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” 

ヨハネの福音書14章7～9節のフィリポとの対話を読んでみましょう。"もし、あなたがたがわたしを知っていたなら、わたしの父をも知っていたであろう。"あなたがたは今から、父を知り、父を見たのである。 

 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” 

 フィリポは彼に言った、"主よ、私たちに父を示してください、そうすれば私たちには十分です。" 

Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? 

イエスは彼に言われた。「フィリポ、私はこんなに長くあなたと一緒にいたのに、あなたは私を知らなかったのか。

He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 

私を見た人は、父を見たのです。だから、どうして『父を見せてください』と言えるのですか？ 

These scripture readings affirm what Prophet Isaiah said about Jesus. 

これらの聖句朗読は、預言者イザヤがイエスについて語ったことを確認するものです。 

He is also called the Everlasting Father. Know Him as such. Halleluyah!

彼は永遠の父とも呼ばれています。そのように彼を知りましょう。Halleluyah!

Meditation: (Isaiah 9:6) For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder; And His name will be called; Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Activity: Spend time in prayer today and declare that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God.
Confession: Jesus Christ is the Everlasting Father. He is my satisfaction. He is my Father. He makes available to me all that I need and want. I live a stress-free life. Halleluyah!
