(Genesis 29:35) And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the Lord: therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing.

The phrase “praise the Lord” appears in the Old King James Version of the Bible ninety-five times. This shows how important this is in the Bible. The word “praise” as used in our theme Scripture means “worship, revere, and to give thanks”. So, to praise the Lord means to worship the Lord, revere the Lord, and thank the Lord. We do this through words. You may choose to shout or not, but the most important thing is your faith must be involved. Do you often spend quality time to praise the Lord? If you have not, please change for the better. Whenever we praise the Lord, there is a special release of God’s power, grace, and glory that overshadows and destroys evil plans in our lives. In the Scriptures, when God wanted to bring the walls of Jericho down, the strategy He offered His children was to praise Him with shouts. We are told in Joshua 6:1-5 that “Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. And the Lord said to Joshua: “

And the people shall go up every man straight before him.” Amazing! Spend time praising the Lord today, especially with shouts and as you do every wall of limitation and hindrance shall fall flat. Halleluyah!
