Why do I learn classical Greek?

A few decades ago, a certain philosopher taught me basic classical Greek grammar.
To be honest, I came from a technical background (pulse circuits), analytical philosophy (Wittgenstein), and scientific philosophy (mathematical logic), but the reason why I chose classical Greek was because I met Parmenides through Tadashi Inoue, and learned about presocratic. Because I was attracted to the presocratic philosophy.
To be honest, I wanted to major in classical Greek philosophy after that, but I didn't have the confidence to endure the solitude of academia (I was addicted to mountain climbing at the time), and I realized that it would be difficult to major in “Parmenides” at the Japanese academy. Before that, I decided that it was not financially possible (my family was extremely poor at the time, so, I attended university in the daytime while working as a system operator at night), so I became a German-Japanese translator of technology.
The reason I chose classical Greek philosophy is because I had and have doubts about “existence” due to childhood PTSD as a child.
When I encountered Tadashi Inoue's “Parmenides”, I realized, “This is what I searched for!” I wish I had encountered him more before, but to tell the truth, at that time I was critical of Tadashi Inoue's “Parmenides”. From the perspective of technology, analytical philosophy, and philosophy of science, I was dissatisfied with Tadashi Inoue's interpretation of Parmenides. When I knew that Tadashi Inoue was a Catholic, I thought to myself, “Wow! Even though he writes a lot of excellent philosophical papers, in the end, he's talking about “God”!”
However, Tadashi Inoue's “Parmenides” has been smoldering in the deep of my mind, as a German-Japanese translator, I experienced the paradigm shift in technology in the field of translations, and as I came into contact with cutting-edge technologies such as MRI, AI, CRISPR-Cas9, accelerators (subatomic/ elementary particles), and quantum computers (quantum physics), “Parmenides” was growing inside me.
Even when viewed from the perspective of such cutting-edge technology, I believe that Parmenides' “questions” strikes at the essence of “existence”. We human beings in the 21st century have not yet surpassed Parmenides.
Therefore, I would like to understand “Parmenides” from the classical Greek original. In the end, I don't think Tadashi Inoue has reached the “arche: beginning, origin” of “existence,” even though he has gotten close to it. But Tadashi Inoue was also aware of the connection between cutting-edge technology and Parmenides' fundamental question.
From the perspective of cutting-edge science and technology, I would like to examine the “questions” of the classical Greek philosophers before Socrates regarding the “grounds of existence”. I would like to work on the post “Tadashi Inoue”. I would like to work on the post-Tadashi Inoue’s work.
This is the answer to “Why do I learn classical Greek?”
