6月16日

こんばんは。

今日は6月16日。天気は曇り時々雨。

6月も半分が過ぎてしまいました。時間の流れというものは早いものですね。学業が忙しくて就活に全然手をつけられていません。夏のインターン選考にもあまりエントリーしてないなーという感じです。夏休みに本格的にできたらいいですねぇ。

水曜日は授業が3つもあって体力的にも精神的にも疲れる1日。来週から対面が始まるようですがついていくことができるのでしょうか。。。友達に会えるのはすごい嬉しいですけどね。

今日も英検2次試験の練習をしたのでスピーチを書きたいと思います。

Does the Internet have a beneficial effect on society?

        I think the Internet has a beneficial effect on society. There are two reasons why I think so.  

        The first reason is that people can get information of foreign countries from the Internet. In Japan, Japanese can know information or news not only within Japan but from foreign countries. So, they can broaden their perspectives easily. 

      The second reason is that people can get along with many other people in the world. Thanks to the Internet, they can talk to others all over the world through online applications like Zoom or Twitter. So, they can get to know each other more easily as the Internet or technology is improving.      

      For those reasons, I think the Internet has a positive effect on society.

今回は、内容は割とスムーズに思いつきましたが、やっぱり英語が出てこないですね。日頃から話す訓練をしておかないといけないなと思いました。こんな言い方しないよねぇっていうところも咄嗟に口に出すとなると間違ってしまいます。これも練習不足なのが出てしまっています。馴染みがあるトピックだけでも練習しておきたいところです。
