Symmetry of a butterfly

Hi friends, today we are going to learn about "symmetry." I have attached a video that explains this concept, as well as another video on how to create butterfly wings with symmetry! Remember, you don't have to necessarily create your symmetrical wings like in the video! You can always create your wings in your own way, as long as both sides look the same! I can't wait to see all of your fun wings! :)

5.3 Making Amends and forgiving

In this story, Z and the kids accidentally hurt one another’s feelings. The kids help Z learn they can still figure out how to make things better.
As you listen, pay attention to when Z and the kids feel hurt by something some of them have done and what they do to stay friends.
Listen to the story. Afterwards, think about and discuss these questions with a grown up. Draw a picture answering at least one question and draw a picture. Write your name, label and add dictation to your picture.
1. Why is it important to explain to someone you care when you hurt their feelings, even if you didn’t do it on purpose?
2. Have you ever felt really upset at a friend? What can you do when it happens so you don’t say things that aren’t kind?
3. Why is it important to be a fast forgiver?
