Issa (18 years old)
A recent high school graduate who recently gave up on his dream of becoming a professional soccer player but still holds a passion for the sport. Under Sawaki's guidance, he discovers Footvolley and begins a new challenge. He has a bright personality and cherishes the bonds with his friends.
Sawaki (45 years old)
A pioneer who introduced Footvolley to Japan, Sawaki is a former professional player from Tokyo. With a gentle demeanor, he teaches Issa and others the joy and techniques of Footvolley. Despite his calm exterior, he carries a past as a celebrated player in Brazil and serves as a supportive mentor to Issa.
Hayato (15 years old)
Sawaki's nephew and a first-year high school student who left the soccer team to explore Footvolley. While he harbors sentiments for soccer, he finds appeal in Footvolley's free-flowing playstyle. Bonding with Issa, he becomes one of his comrades in Footvolley.
Andre (22 years old)
A Brazilian exchange student hailing from the favelas of Rio de Janeiro. Having played advanced Footvolley on Rio's beaches since childhood, Andre is drawn to Issa and reaches out to him. He holds a pivotal role with a hidden connection to Sawaki's past.
